Ratings for Dr. Mark Adrian
I read the comments about Dr Adrain before seeing him and was worried. However, I have now seen him for two cortisone shots. Have they helped? Yes. Are they a miracle worker? Sort of. The first one helped a lot and lasted about 7 mths. One thing I can say for certain is that Candice (his receptionist) is awesome. Both times she has been helpful and even got me a speedy date for the shots. As for Dr Adrian, I have absolutely no complaints. He was very professional when I met with him and was GREAT when administering the shots. I think the key is you can't expect him to be a miracle worker but instead take him as another tool in your recovery. I just saw him for my second one an am hoping it will have longer positive outcome than the first.
Horrible guy even not worth calling him a doctor. Cold and non professional. Can't even diagnose symptoms or give correct suggestions. My problem is getting worse and worse after seeing him since three years ago. A patient gave him my trust but he retuned to patient more pain?!
I guess he may have the knowledge, however I went to him complaining primarily about my low back. He said it was a hip problem and has not budged from that diagnosis. He shows absolutely no empathy for someone that lives in pain. He suggested a hip steroid injection and said the effect would last around six months. It took three months to be able to get the injection done (had to be done by another specialist) and the effect wore off in less than 3 weeks. I just came back from seeing Dr. Adrian for the third time, offered no solution to my pain.
I have been seeing Dr. Adrian for over one year now for a disc protrusion and compression in my spine. Since the beginning he has offered mostly hope to my case. He is trying to avoid surgery, which is understandable, so he sent me for an Epidural which did very little to help my pain because the steriod was administered to the wrong place (L3/L4 but all of my pain is at L5/S1). I've now been put on a waitlist for another epidural, to be administered by him, and it's been over 4 months and no one has called me. I've followed up twice and have been told someone will contact me but no one has. I phoned this week, only to get a voicemail that now no one is in the office for another 2 weeks. It's all very frustrating and at this stage I wish I had been referred to someone else.
I waited 6 months to see Dr Adrian , but it was worth it. He went over my spine problems and suggested a spinal injection nerve block. I have been able to stop my medications and return to sports since he did this. I am very happy with the outcome. His assistant was very helpful in organizing my scan and appointments.
