Biography

Dr. Garrick is a Professor of Clinical Medicine, Vice Dean and Section Chief of Renal for Westchester Medical Center, New York Medical College. She serves as the Executive Medical Director for Westchester Medical Center where she oversees quality, safety, and regulatory initiatives. In addition to these roles, she has extensive experience with quality initiatives as they relate to patients with kidney disease. She served on the New York State Hospital Review and Planning Council where she chaired the State’s task force on dialysis care, and currently serves on the dialysis subcommittee on Office Based Surgery for New York State Department of Health. She is a member of the Board of Directors for the Renal Physicians Association and is a member of its patient safety committee. Dr. Garrick has also served as Chair of Medical Advisory Board of the Kidney and Urology Foundation of America and on the Medical Advisory Board and the Executive Committee of the End Stage Renal Disease Network of New York.
