I was referred to Dr. Grushka by my family doctor for the terrible pain I was having in my mouth for over a year. Dr. Grushka and her staff were incredible in communicating with my doctors and not giving up on me. As a result of the investigations and treatment that I received my mouth is so much better and I can eat and drink without any problem. Dr. Grushka and her staff are the best!

My appointment with Dr. Grushka was AMAZING. She was extremely knowledgeable in what I was coming to see her for(burning mouth/dry mouth) and I felt at ease leaving her office. She was very thorough and addressed all of my questions. Her staff was efficient and very pleasant.

In fall 2013 I was referred to Dr. Grushka for TMJ problems. She made a new bite splint for me to replace the one I had been wearing for bruxism. She referred me to two physiotherapists. As a result of this treatment I am finally able to eat corn on the cob and bite into an apple without worrying about TMJ. Thank you Dr. Grushka!

Dr. Mariam Grushka Lack the professionalism simply put, she is rude and obnoxious. I spent $325 for a stack of popsicles sticks. My dentist had refer me to Grushka, so I call my dentist to share my experience and was told they had Google a specialist and that’s how I was refer to Grushka. Needless to say how upsetting that was.

Dr. Grushka thinks she knows everything but that is not the case. You are better off treating with a doctor who will be more understanding and caring. Grushka does not have much patience at all and her service fees are ridiculously overpriced. Lousy, unhelpful treatment.

Came to her regarding strange feeling in mouth tongue as an oral expert she knew nothing decided to prescribe clobetesol an oral steroid which almost killed me cause thrush infection really she has no clue what's she's doing go to mount Sinai oral pathology dept where true doctors exist and know details about mouth diseases.

I was referred by my local dentist in Kitchener to see Dr. Grushka in Toronto regarding my TMJ pain issue. I have seen Dr. Grushka for three times since June 2013. I had to pay the service fees in advance, then got reimbursed through my insurance company, Sun-Life. I am not happy on the last visit in later March 2014, which the front desk staff used the wrong procedure code, which caused the insurance company refused to pay my claim and I have to swallow the cost. Both two visits in Feb and Mar. 2014 had the exactly same treatment, but she used the different codes during charge, and doesn't want to correct it after negotiations among her dental clinic, the insurance company, and myself. She said the only thing she can do is she won't use this procedure code for next visit. I am so upset, and won't to go this dental clinic again.

I was referred by my dentist after a year of constant pain with the bite splint he made. Dr Gruska was so knowledgeable about adjusting the splint to relieve some of the pain and increase the comfort of the bite guard. She realized within the first two visits that I needed more care to relieve my pain and referred me to another oral surgeon specialist. I have now had tmj arthroscopy done and my pain is under control for the first time in years. I will continue to travel to Toronto to have her make and adjust my mouth splints.

She was quite disrespectful and very unhelpful in many ways. I saw stopped going there after the second visit. Gave me some medication that since my pain stopped, I did not take them. When for the 2nd visit, I told her that I did not take the medication because the pain having stopped, she got furious. With no hesitation she came to my face with her finger pointing at me, telling me 7 times loudly 'you are a difficult patient'! I explained to her that the pain in the jaw had stopped but she would not even let me finish my sentence. I decided to see another TMJ specialist. He is in Mississauga. He was so helpful and very professional. I had a terrible experience with her. I would not recommend her at all. Per her staff, the MRI report was faxed twice and still they could not find it. I had a copy with me that she looked at. At the end of the visit they found the faxes. They were not friendly at all either. I guess everybody is unhappy to be working there.

My Dentist in Whitby, where I live referred me to Dr. Grushka. I was in severe pain and was dithering about making a trip to Toronto. I was glad that I did as Dr. Grushka is extremely thorough, knowledgeable, caring and compassionate. A preliminary diagnoses was made right away, tests ordered and medications prescribed. Her staff are efficient, friendly, patient and kind. Consult notes were sent off immediately to my other doctors on the date of my first visit. Amazing!!! And I didn't have to wait long to get in to see her for my initial visit. It was certainly worth the trip to see Dr. Grushka and I highly recommend her to others.
