My mom has been under Dr. Rao's care since her respiratory failure 2 1/2 years ago and he has been our savior! Yes her will is the ultimate factor but he is willing to look at individualized treatment rather than a general course, which many other doctors we came across would not do. Knowledgable is an understatement, he is an expert in pulmonary medicine as well as critical care and general medicine. We love him but don't expect him to sugar coat anything, he will provide any and all info to educate his patients to better their health. My mom says "he's a walking god"! If you needs answers, visit doctor Rao, no stone will be left unturned and no matter how grim your diagnosis, he will not write you off, he will get you to your best. Mom may not still be here without him, and her will, and God or course.

Went to this Dr. for approx 20 years.He used to be on Newark Ave, JC He moved and never informed his patients. Like a jerk I and other patients went to old office only to find it just closed. NEVER INFORMED ME AFTER 20 YEARS. WOULD YOU RECOMMEND HIM??? Not very caring.
