Ratings for Dr. Amy V. Curtis
4.4
Dr. Amy Curtis is a total professional and excellent doctor. I've been a patient for over 13 years and have received from her care solutions, corrections, and helpful council for improved personal skin care. I have recommended her to many friends. Dale Westergard
Amy Curtis was awful. She was rushed, rude, and made me feel stupid for coming in with my medical concern. So discouraging and unprofessional.
Dr. Amy Curtis is absolutely the best dermatologist I’ve ever seen. I love her, her nice, peaceful and classy office and her friendly, helpful staff. Professional, knowledgeable, caring, and relatable are the words that come to mind to describe her. It’s genuinely a pleasure to visit her office. She takes the fear and worry out of being in a doctor’s office. I’ve had everything from facials to treatment for basil cell carcinoma under her care. I would recommend her with confidence to any and everyone! I leave her office feeling I’ve truly been cared for and treated by the best!
I’ve taken my 7 year old daughter to see Dr. Amy Curtis 3 times so far and she is so awesome! She’s competent, friendly, happy, and has a solid plan that is working great! She’s great with kids too. My daughter is in a lot of discomfort when getting her shots but Amy talks to her calmly and it is calming to my daughter. It’s so wonderful to feel confident that my daughter is being well taken care of. I usually hate going to doctors but the staff is so friendly and helpful and the doctor so amazing that I actually find it uplifting to go. I am so pleased I decided to take time to write this review.
I hadn't been to a dermatogist for 15 years. I had numerous red skin marks on my chest that I wanted to know of were ok, or could be removed. Also I wanted her to check areas I could not see, my back legs arms etc. she spent about 3 minutes if that going over my body. Not looking , at my arms or legs or even touching me too look closely. Then she was done, I asked about all the readarks all over my chest. I said can't you burn them or freeze them off? She said "oh" I guess we can freeze them. She didn't inspect again or look closely, just hit about 4 of them. I don't know if she can't see or what. She was a pleasant person, but seemed more interested in selling me an $800 later procedure for my neck and chest for brown spots? I will not recommend her or return there. I was Dissapo ted that Select Health suggested her!
Hello, we are sorry you feel you didn't have the experience that we strive to provide for all our patients. Please understand that many different types of spots and discolorations on the skin are considered cosmetic and are not covered by medical insurance. Dr. Curtis is very adept and discerning the dangerous lesions from the harmless spots. Please call the manager Jason, we are always happy to discuss ways to make your experience better.
As someone who has suffered with a skin ailment for 20+ years and been to 5 different dermatologists who could not fix my skin - I never thought I would find anyone until Amy. She has not only fixed my skin but is hands-down the most professional and caring doctor I have ever been to and I cannot say enough great things about her! Pine Jorgensen
I was thoroughly impressed with my first visit to Dr. Curtis’ Office. The building is beautiful and well designed. My concerns were addressed quickly, and I intend to send all of my friends and family here. The bonus of having an aesthetic side to this office is very exciting. I didn’t feel pressured into purchasing any of the skincare products, but after learning the benefit and why it would work for my routine, I not only wanted it but needed it! It’s nice to have a go to office near by for multiple concerns and feel comfortable with all of her staff.
Great bedside manner. She is very effective in her communication in every aspect.
I have been a patient of Dr Curtis for many years, but will not go back. The office manager has no integrity. I had to pay out of pocket last time I went because of a change in my insurance. I was told one price and when I went to pay the office manager changed that price substantially and would not back down when I let him know I was quoted another price. I feel that the integrity of the office is a reflection of the entire staff. His disrespect to me was offensive.
Sorry if you felt disrespected that was not our intent. The manager would be happy to discuss further with you.
Dr. Curtis is very professional yet friendly and helpful. She makes it a point to really understand her patients needs. Dr. Curtis didn't rush the appointment and she took the time to ask questions pertinent to my initial concern and address any other dermatological needs. I was moving and she even voluntarily looked up Dr's in my new location who would be able to continue with my treatment plan. I felt very well cared for. Dr. Curtis's clinic is atatevif the art and equipped to provide treatment for all dermatological issues and asthetic needs. The staff is also very helpful and well trained.
