I had an awful, horrible experience with this woman. I haven't even had my baby yet and as a first time mom, she has left me feeling discouraged, brushed off and as if I am doing a horrible job being pregnant. Her bedside manner is absolutely non-existent. She made me cry during one appointment, ranting about how I need to stop gaining weight. I understand sometimes these conversations need to happen, buts he was harsh and insensitive. At my 39 week appointment, she was irritated that I asked for a pelvic exam and proceeded to shove her fingers inside me without any warning. She then sarcastically told me to practice my deep breathing or else "the way you are acting, you'll have a hard time during labor." THEN she mentions the weight again...says "Have you tried having maybe some grilled chicken or salad?" I replied that I actually have both of those often and she said, "Where, inside a big burrito?" Unbelievable and unacceptable to talk like this to anyone, let alone a pregnant first time mom who is emotional and at the end of her pregnancy doing the best job she can. She has completely ruined my experience with Kaiser thus far.
