Oh, my goodness this woman's a nightmare. I had a simple surgery with her and a horrible infection afterwards. She ignored all my calls and concerns and I ended up being treated by another doctor. Plus she was so rude and consumed with making extra money. I hope these poor ratings will keep others away from her door.

While I agree, both Drs. have abrupt bedside manners and lectured me about getting pregnant soon, I whole heartedly recommend them. Dr. Dipaolo caught a rare blood disorder that could cause another fatal blood clot and precluded me from taking birth control after being on it for 17 years. No other doctor had bothered to check. Also, she addressed my normal/abnormal paps I had for 8 years and explained the dangers of the pre-cancerous cells I had. Others had just written it off as fine. She did a diagnostic &therapeutic procedure and I've had normal paps since. I've seen them for 5 years and now have an excellent rapport with both. Also, Dr. Dipaolo is well known in the community and trusted by top rated doctors like the peri-natal and fertility clinics I've seen recently. Dr. Filipescu performs high risk obstetric surgeries in Romania.

no one can argue how knowledgeable she is, I guess that is the reason why I've been seen her for 10 years now. her stuff aren't helpfull, they have a policy of squezzing you pockets as mucha s they can...and I will just have to live with it because I find her very knowledgeable and experienced. First time a met her, it was at my sister's delivery and got me very impressed of her techniques (I am also a health care provider and can figure out easily if a dr. is good or not). # years ago when I decided to change doctors because she was on vacation and her father made me and my husband have the most horrible experience ever, I ended up on the hands of another OB/GYN with the most wonderful staff in her office but let remains of a miscarriage in my uterus causing me fertility issues that I am still dealing with. I think it is better to evaluate experience and knowledge than smily faces and nice words.

The staff at this practice is the worst i've ever experienced. They're very rude and make you feel like you're inconveniencing them. Even worse, they can't keep track of their money -- and trust me, both the staff and Dr. DiPaolo try to squeeze every penny out of you...they even have poorly printed signs throughout the office begging for cash. So of course the doctor is going to order tests for you and show concern! If she doesn't, she won't get paid! Dr. DiPaolo did a surgery for me and the scarring was terrible. I even went in to see her dad (with whom she shares the practice) and he said "who did your surgery!?" And she didn't notice the signs that i was allergic to anesthesia (which i found out afterward) and instead blamed in on FOOD POISONING. When i was sick vomiting in bed, she called me throughout the day and pressured me to go in to her office to tell me that. HORRIBLE. Anyway, i wouldn't recommend this practice unless you like to be mistreated and nickled and dimed to death.

I have been seeing Dr. DiPaolo for 5 years. She has always made me feel relaxed and she answers all my questions. I trust her completely. I was referred to her by a friend who also sees her. I felt a small breast lump and showed it to my previous doctor who told me not to worry about it. I went to Dr. DiPaolo. She showed concern, sent me immediately for a mammogram. Her office staff is wonderful, and so is she.

Dr. Dipaolo seemed condescending. I did not feel that she listened to my concerns about birth control. She pressured me to have a baby as a 24 year old new graduate. I wasn't even married yet. When I told her I couldn't afford to, she suggested I seek government assistance. There were signs up around her office asking patients to donate $15 per visit in addition to our copays. It seemed very tacky and left me with the impression that I could not trust her to act in the my best interest.

Dr DiPaolo rushes through the breast exam like she's late for a fire, and I'm in a high risk category for cancer. I've told her she's causing me a great deal of pain with the speculum and she seems annoyed. We are all unique, and one size speculum does not fit all. The last exam caused urethral bruising that took days to resolve, very painful. I always waited at least an hour for my 9:00 am appts. that were scheduled weeks in advance. Look at the sign-in sheet, and note the overbooking for the same time slots. My time and my job are important, too.

I would not recommend Dr. DiPaulo for two reasons: (1) similar to a previous reviewer's comment, Dr. DiPaulo gave me unsolicited advice about how my biological clock ticking...excuse me? That's none of her business! How does she even know that I want kids? (2) there was a COLLECTION JAR asking for donations to help defray the rising costs of malpractice insurance. Ummm...not an expert on etiquette or ethics, but to me, that seems wholly inappropriate in a Dr.'s office. I don't need a Dr. hitting me up for "donations." I think my business is good enough. Needless to say, I'm not returning to that office for my annual.

I found the nurse and front desk staff to be extremely helpful and nice. I have been seeing Dr. Dipaolo for 4 yrs. I really liked her and even referred her to friends. She removed a cyst through surgery with me and I thought she was great. I called her in pain and she calmed me and answered my questions right away. The bad news is that I am now pregnant very close to my due date and Dr Filipescue and Her seem to try to convince me that I need to be induced or have a c-section at 38 weeks with no medical reason. They said I have a big baby but my last ultrasound showed the baby was just slightly larger. Dr. Filipescue said my sex life would suffer and that American women don't value their sex lives like Brazilian women who have an 85% c-section rate, he said the baby's head would would come out like a banana, my husband would be able to put a fist up there after the baby was born, and other terrible scare tactics to get me to choose a c-section...but what I choose is to switch practices
