Dr Edward J Bednar from Bednar Cosmetic Surgery Fat Transfer to the breast surgeon has been issued a public Letter of concern on February 25, 2025 concerning 5 patients. Not including the 2 deaths in 2025. Please read.

Warning - Dr Bednar has had 2 patients die recently coding on the surgical table. I am a former patient and he didn’t even bother to have my consult so he knew nothing about my medical history or what I desired. Which was heartbreaking. He’s old and can’t see or hear well, he should retire before he botches or hurts anyone else.

Shelby, who is new to the practice did my lasering today. Turns out she was trained by one of Julie’s mentors (or mentees?) so all was great! I’ve been doing clear and brilliant for several years now. Last time I saw my dermatologist she told me that my skin looked great and said to keep doing whatever I was doing. Thank you to everyone at Bednar‘s office for helping me take care of my skin!

I sadly went to Dr Bednar for surgery for breast fat transfer to repair my breasts after explanting. They are deceptive, and he’s an egregiously wrongdoer. The in house nurse anesthetist deceptually gave me a narcotic before I ever met Dr Bednar. For the first time and consult for everything. Dr Bednar took it upon himself without ever meeting me and I was so intoxicated I couldn’t talk walk scream or even stand myself, to choose where he wanted to perform surgery and wrecked my body adding in extra procedures to my face and scalp. Never discussed or even paid for by me. Ruining my beautiful face. His staff went in my purse charging my CCs. His wife lied and they deceptually have you sign documents before hand. My body is now rippled with irregularities and sagging. Areas he never should have touched. Areas I loved before. Ruining my hips and butt. Breast FT didn’t even stay. Expect necrosis and deformities from him. What he did to my face is disgusting. Who has the balls to think it’s his choice to do anything HE wants to someone else’s body and face? Nothing was never explained or myself being asked anything. After when I confronted him - He said I should think about it like this. “I saved you from having to have a facelift in the future” In my experience he is extremely dangerous.

Had badly botched cellulaze that was devastating and life altering. He tried to fix it only making it worse with each additional procedure. They were very rude to me during my last contact. Dr. Bednar tried to blow me off after a few attempts for correction. He did not follow through with the last promise to complete a seriesof injectable. They do not allow negative reviews on their website. Sylvia lied to me about Dr. Bednar's involvement in the development of the cellulaze procedure. I have told Dr. Bednar and staff about Sylvia's claim during my initial phone calls and visit. That's how she convinced me to choose him. She flat out lied to me. She never denied she told me this. Do not go to Dr. Bednar. I am disfigured and devastated. Dr. Bednar and Sylvia do not care that they ruined my life.

I received botox and filler today...what a GREAT experience. The staff of so friendly and helpful. They answer all of my questions so that I can understand everything. I had not been in several months and it was time for a refresher! I always feel so confident when I leave there that I am going to look the best I can for 68 years young! I believe Dr. Bednar is the best plastic surgeon I have ever been to....We are so lucky to have him here in Charlotte! Thank you Dr. Bednar!

Went in for juvaderm in the nasiolabia folds, botox and a clear and brilliant treatment. Numbing cream applied first and that helped cut the edge. Results are amazing, even just after 1 treatment. Dr Bednar and his staff are top notch! Excellent customer service and they always treat patients like family. Love this office.

I had a fat transfer to my breasts a couple days ago. The results are great and the lipo seems extremely well done. Him, Sylvia, Ashley, and sue are amazing. Oh and joe the anasthesiologist, he really has a way about him for calming down those who have never been put under

Today was a last minute appointment for me as my travel schedule is tight. They were able to put me in the schedule and work with be . It's always a pleasure to go their office as it is has a great Atmosphere of great friendly helpful people.
