The person running this office, who refers to himself as the "President" (Mark Anton) is a total lunatic. I am currently out of work on disability. When I went to see my doctor to have him sign my disability paperwork, I was informed that I had to speak with the billing department first. I was escorted into an empty patient room and harassed and held hostage by the office manager, Veronica and this "President" Mark Anton. A 3rd party collection agency AND Dr. Marsh's office are attempting collect the same debt, which according to my insurance company, "CLAIM NOT SUBMITTED ON TIME. IN-NETWORK HEALTH CARE PROVIDER CANNOT BIL THE PATIENT). This office billed the WRONG insurance company and then submitted a claim to the correct insurance company which was DENIED because the claim was not submitted in a timely fashion. So now they are REFUSING to allow me access to my doctor who is in charge of my health.
I was referred to Dr. Marsh by a reliable source and was impressed with him. Unfortunately he has an office staff of airheads. I was asked if I wanted to purchase a piece of equipment to assist with my medical situation and declined the offer. The equipment was billed to my insurance because the staff member ran the item through my insurance to tell me what I would pay ultimately. I discovered the error early on and advised the office to remove the item from my bill. They agreed to comply, but never did. Months later another bill was received with threat of collections. I called the office again, no help at all! Eventually the insurance company got involved and the matter was solved in my favor. This issue would have been avoided if Dr. Marsh hired mature, competent office staff. I hope he can survive his staff until he retires!
I am writing this from the lobby of Dr. Marsha's office where I have waited over an hour and a half past my appointment time to be seen. Not to mention the fact that this is my second time coming in this week because he couldn't help me when I was in (and waited 1.5 hours) a couple days ago. Because they overbook, the staff are overworked and rude/curt when you ask them for an update on when you'll be seen. Once you finally get in to see Dr. Marsh you get 2-3 minutes with him in which he doesn't seem to be listening and you leave feeling rushed out with unanswered questions. I've been prescribed medicine I don't need and have had to come back 2-3 times to identify simple issues. I'm sure he was a great doctor at some point in time, and during your 2 minutes with him he's a friendly/likeable guy who clearly knows his stuff, but would advise against going here if you value your time / health.
Dr. Marsh was my dr for almost 10 years. I trusted him and liked him a lot. I stopped going to him two years ago, when he misdiagnosed me as diabetic. This is a doctor who knew me and my medical history and my healthy lifestyle. He didn't take the time to do proper fasting bloodwork, and instead diagnosed me hastily and prescribed medicine and a lifestyle that would have lasted my lifetime. If I hadn't been my own advocate and sought out an endocrinologist on my own, I might still be on medicine for a disease that I don't have. In fact, when my fasting bloodwork came back, everything was 100% normal. I resent Dr. Marsh, and I hope that I never see him again. He gives doctors a bad name, and I would suggest that anyone looking for a good, caring and attentive doctor look elsewhere.
Dr. Marsh was my doctor for 17 years. He has become the worst Dr ever. DO NOT GO TO HIM........Wrongfully billed my insurance company 5 times on the same bill. Never calls patience back but leaves a message on a voice-mail system. The staff is below poor. Never happy.
I read all the positive reviews about Dr. Marsh and made an appt. I'm not sure if actual patients are writing these glowing reviews, because my experience was awful. My husband went to Dr. Marsh as well, and his experience was similar. He spent less than 5 minutes with me, prescribed medication based on year old labs, didn't communicate what he was doing or why, answered a personal phone call, and didn't call me back with my results in a timely manner when he said he would. I'm looking for a new doctor.
Dr. Marsh is knowledgeable, friendly, and observant. He is an advocate for his patients and does not let the insurance companies dictate the care his patients receive. He is very popular and there often is a full waiting room, but he is worth the wait.
Marsh is a good doctor, very personable and has been around so he's obviously seen it all. He has fallen victim, however, to his own popularity. His waiting room is always packed and you will wait past your appointment time no matter how early you get there because he stacks his patients. The office staff is always overwhelmed and grumpy and rarely do you get a smile or any recognition from them.
Dr. Marsh is an execellent Doctor. He doesn't beat around the bush, or put you on medication for the heck of it. He is very cautious as to what to prescribe to a patient. He has been my husbands doctor for many, many years. We always felt we were in good hands with Dr. Marsh and Dr. Kroop. We moved to Washington State, and we don't have the confidnece in our new doctor that ws had in March and Kroop. Boy do we miss them a lot. When we are in California (which isn't often), we try and make an appointment to see them.
