I think there may have a language/cultural barrier to some of our communication but even still I found Dr. Xu to be a bit pushy and she did not communicate what she was doing (e.g. she just started hooking up the needles to electro stim without asking if I was ok with that). She asked what "medications" I was taking and I said none but then she pre-mixed $20 worth of herbs for me and when I asked what was it in it she listed herbs I was already taking. She said I asked you if you were taking any medications?! And I said yes, you didn't say herbs or supplements. She then indicated I "had to" purchase the herbs otherwise the treatment wouldn't work. She was nice enough but overall I felt she wasn't fully listening and was just doing a protocol based on one or two complaints and didn't communicate much of anything to me. Would never recommend.
