We think Dr. Kuiper is wonderful!! She is always willing to answer and question we have and speaks to my children on their level. When my oldest son was very sick, she put him in the hospital instead of us taking him home, which was a wise decision. He was diagnosed with asthma and we are very thankful that we now know what to do if he has an attack.

Short version: She pulled back my son's foreskin. I told her not to do that. She said she is "supposed to expose the glans". I later wrote her an email asking for a link to this recommendation. She responded saying that she did not retract him but instead "checked the preputial opening". She said that is what the AAP recommends, and I couldn't find it anywhere so I replied & asked her to email it to me and she never responded. (Because they do not recommend it!) If any tearing or damage occurs while pulling baby foreskin back it is considered a malpractice. It is not to be done at all and I found a pediatrician who says that. Also my son had a reaction to his 2 mo vaccines... instead of delaying his 4 month as I asked her nurse said we should go ahead and give them anyway- they do not delay there. My son is still having occasional seizures. He has a pediatrician now who is willing to delay vaccines for a while.
