Dr. Yamane is amazing!!! Extremely knowledgeable, thorough, and friendly. My wife, several friends and I are extremely pleased being his patients. We have been seeing him since he has been practicing in Huntington Beach. I can't say enough positive things about him and his staff.

I've been going to Dr. Yamane for over 5 years and he has always went out of his way to make sure that my contacts and glasses were perfect. When I had other eye problems, such as irrited eyes, he would see me that day.

I have been going to this doctor for several years but my most recent visit will be my last. I go annually and typically wait 20-30 minutes to see the doctor. I typically have to return several times to get the lenses correct...they always blame the lab. If it is such a bad lab why keep using it? The doctor is well aware of my frustration with the wait times and the lab errors but seems not to care enough to do anything about it. I rarely see the same staff twice and they stop texting just long enough to minimally help the patient. I suppose this is typical for a mall doctor.
