Excellent surgeon. Colon resection 7 years ago with no complications to date. Would use Dr. Barker for further surgeries. My wife has had 3 surgeries performed by him with no complaints.

Dr. Barker is a good surgeon he is just getting sloppy. He does a lot of unneeded hystorectomy's. Double check with another doctor before you follow through with his suggestions. The women on his staff are rude and hateful. If you upset them they treat you like dirt.The staff in his office have no manners at all. After surgery his PA usually closes you up and it is very sloppy. You will have nasty scars as I do. I was still in pain after surgery a month later and had to have a second surgery. The nurse in the office wouldnt tell Dr. Barker about it. I was told to take more motrin for another month to see if I was still in pain. My scars are horrible. I believe I wasnt closed up properly by the PA due to the mess in the office over my pain.I believe she did it on purpose and I am not the only one in this town that thinks so.I have heard many complaints from others in town, and how badly they were treated and closed up after surgery. I do not advise anyone to b treated by this office
