My husband was referred to Dr. Kelly for long lasting pain following surgery for esophageal cancer. We never met with Dr. Kelly but only with his physician's assistant. It was all in all a terrible experience for my husband who got no relief from his pain but was put on 3 medications: gabapentin, lyrica, and Cymbalta. None of these did anything to help but cause every possible side effect, actually making him sicker and leaving him in more pain. Do not go to the doctor. They will do nothing to help you and will make you fell worse. There is no record of any of the medications prescribed by his assistant, Gerry Makalth, in the Cape Cod Health Care computer system.
