Dr. Tranen has been my doctor for basically 22 years. Tho I don't go to see her OFTEN (I can handle "hangnails" ;) I knew she was a NEW Doc when I started with her, guess I didn't know HOW new at the time ;) What do I know? I was 18 years old ;) She has always been pretty consistant, she's business like - but with some warmth - so you know she's human also. Her STAFF... that has always varied... I tend to be underimpressed. So SHE is very good, and impressive, now if some of that would rub off on her office folk... sometimes they are fine, othertimes... not so much. Tho It has been over a year since I've sen them, so maybe some new faces?

She is caresmatic and has concern for her patients. Sometimes, she can be little aggressive and assumes she knows what is best for me. She hears me out but she interupts me sometimes.

Excellent doctor. I have been seeing Dr. Tranen for over 16 years. She truly cares, is easy to get in to see, her staff can sometimes be rude, but overall this is a great office, great practice and terrific doctor.

The most unusual doctor I've ever encountered. She really CARES! I never feel like a patient when consulting with her. She talks to me as a person not a paying customer. Some places say "open wide", write a script and rush you out the door so they can get to the next wallet. I never feel rushed and all my questions are answered. She can be stern (when needed) and sometimes situations call for discipline being prescribed. I can't even imagine her being disrespectful, rude or inattentive as one on here testified. Simply not a part of her character. Her staff is great as well. Two caring, knowledgeable nurses and the office/billing people are friendly as well. Also has an on-site lab tech retained for tests and blood-work. Very punctual. Can you tell I like my doctor? lol I'm a 40 year old man and I've never really liked doctors and never trusted women doctors(sorry) but I'm very comfortable with Dr. Tranen and actually look forward to seeing her. Like visiting a friend. She's great.

I think that Dr Tranen is one of the most thoughtful and caring individuals that cares not just for a few but all that ask for her help. I know this because she is thouough in her observations of problems that can and usually affect the patient and makes the comment that she wants to keep us around for a time. This is dedication to the sanctadity of life.

She was always on time, but she did not listen to a word I said and seemed to have her own agenda, rather than my health concerns. I kept hearing nice things about her, and I went for about nine months, and she was consistently hostile and nasty to me. It never got better, if anything, what little rapport there was, disintegrated. She never once asked me how I was doing or what I thought. And when I spoke up, not once did I ever feel that she heard any of my concerns. Neither she nor her staff ever called me by my name in all that time; I don't think they knew it. Although they called me "sweetie," which by itself seems harmless, I felt it was insincere, disrespectful and condescending. Perhaps she just didn't like me; from all the positive comments about her, this behavior certainly seems to be unusual. I guess that if you decide to go see her, it's best for you if she likes you, otherwise, she's just mean and dismissive.

She's great. Takes the time to listen and answer all questions. I don't usually like doctors but I like her. I'm a male and I'm very comfortable in discussing anything with her. She's straight forward and tells it like it is even if you don't want to hear it. She has a "motherly" quality. I've never felt that from a doctor before and I like it. It means she cares and it comes through in her demeanor.
