Dr. Ahmed Abdelsalam... is terrible. This doctor is incredibly rude, I was misdiagnosed and I was put through expensive and unnecessary tests. After my second visit I asked him how much this was going to cost with all of the tests. He looked at me and said " Your insurance company is gonna love me" then he told me to talk to the billing department. After my insurance paid I was still left with a $2,000 bill I had to pay out of pocket. I was told I had an untreatable condition and that he wanted me to return every month. After a few more weeks of him seeing him I finally found another doctor in Wheaton Illinois that Diagnosed me with a different and treatable condition. I was given medication that helped treat the problem, but due to all the time that was wasted not treating the problem I LOST MOST OF THE VISION IN MY LEFT EYE!

The doctor was very rude and barely talked to me at all. Then said I would need a test that required them to inject a dye into my arm. When the nurse could not find my vein the doctor informed me that since the test could not be completed he did not want to see me again or discuss anything further with me because "non-compliance with the test" and promptly left without another word.

Became angry when I asked for clarification on why a very expensive test procedure (that I would have to pay for out of pocket) was needed and refused to even talk to me or answer my questions about it unless I did the procedure first. I refused the test procedure that day and received a letter a few days later advising me that his practice was dropping me as a patient due to my "non-compliance."
