I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Freedman several weeks ago to discuss hernia repair. I fully expected to leave his office with an appointment scheduled for surgery. Imagine my surprise when he recommended I NOT have surgery. I found him kind, gentle, attentive, honest, and loved the fact that he isn't soliciting unnecessary surgery. He explained all the pros and cons of surgery and he took the time to answer my questions. If, in the future, I need to reconsider repairing the hernia I will definitely be returning to Dr. Freedman.

Excellent in all areas. Very efficient, explained in detail what was needed and what he planned to do. Very pleased. No complications and no scarring.

Dr. Freedman, the staff at his offices, and the surgery staff at Honor Health Shea could not have been better. The procedure went perfectly, the follow up was thorough, and my health is back 100%. Thanks to everyone for their professionalism, kindness, and patience. I would definitely trust Dr. Freedman again.

Dr. Freedman is extremely arrogant. He was the only available surgeon available at Shea Honor Health for my emergency surgery and my follow up ER visits for complications after the surgery. He does not read reports carefully, he will not admit or try to come up with solutions to a failed surgery. He talks down to me and my husband. His wife, works in the office and very nice herself, must run offense and defense for him. His staff is nice. I cringe having to see him for follow up visits for a failed surgery. He is not a great surgeon because he does not listen to his patients or admit his hospital surgery has had complications. I will have to follow up with another surgeon to repair this physician's mistakes. My primary MD even cringed when I told her who did the surgery. He has a reputation that precedes him, as arrogant and self obsorbed. I would never recommend him.

Dr. Freedman saved my life. I would recommend him for any surgery, but especially for breast cancer. My primary care physician and the physician at mammogram center recommended him after my diagnosis on the day of mammogram. His office should be the next apmt. His nurse and his administrative assistant serve as navigators to keep down anxiety/fear level.

I will never return to Dr.Bruce E. Freedman and I promise you I will steer everyone in this area away from going to see him. He is arrogant, self-absorbed, and cannot be told he has made a mistake. I unfortunately spent a great deal of money at this guy's office. The office help is not help either, quite the opposite. I have to tell you the most dangerous surgeon out there is one who believes he can make no mistakes. He's made plenty, trust me, but if you are looking for him to correct them, forget about it. This guy is a bulldog once he treats you and does not repair anything!

So rude. Basically told me I was making up a problem until his nurse gave him my ultrasound report. Talked to me like I was a joke. I will be going elsewhere. I understand some patients can be hard to please but to abruptly treat me like a lying child was horrific.

A very unpleasant experience with a guy who must have missed learning logic during his many years. He is almost clueless. He missed the mark completely, relied on guesswork and spent almost no time trying to figure out the problem. He is fully self-absorbed and rude which would have been OK had he been knowledgeable.

Dr. Freedman repaired a hernia that I developed after injuring myself working out. First and foremost, he is a great surgeon and very knowledgeable. You can have complete confidence in his abilities. As far as his office is concerned, the service from the staff is average. Also, be prepared for an extended wait time. On average, it would take 30-60 minutes after my scheduled appointment time to see Dr. Freedman. When meeting with Dr. Freedman it is important to know that he is a no nonsense person. He does not come off as being very extroverted so it is important to be direct with any questions and concerns that you may have. All in all, I would definitely recommend Dr. Freedman to a friend or family member.
