Ratings for Dr. Timothy C. Fagan
The recipient of many awards, among them, three “Patients' Choice Awards” (2010, 2012, 2014) and two “Compassionate Doctor Recognitions” (2010, 2012), Dr. Timothy Fagan is without a doubt among the best doctors whom my husband and I have met/consulted during the past 16 years. It would take many pages to list all of Dr. Fagan’s positive qualities. The ones below are typical examples. First of all, naturally, Dr. Fagan is a very competent doctor, very accurate in the identification and treatment of medical disorders. To cite just one case - happened very recently - he correctly diagnosed a condition whose symptoms another doctor had brushed off as “never encountered during my 28 years of practice“. Two specialists in the treatment of similar conditions had not recognized the same problem. Dr. Fagan has always been very caring and open, ready to explain, as well as willing to accommodate his patients with appointments on very short notices. This last one is a quality that we recently learned to appreciate: while looking for a doctor, any type of doctor, we discovered that, if the individual is sufficiently fortunate to find one who - in addition to being competent, will accept new patients - the minimum waiting period is three months. The positive reviews - on this site and others - confirm such conclusions. So did the many patients who did not mind leaving the house during a scorching summer afternoon in Tucson, to attend the open house held to say good-bye to him. (August 16 2015). Their cars filled the entire parking lot - usually empty on a Sunday. The place was so packed that some patients could not even come inside. During the open house, a time when many people would have simply given a quick good-bye speech and departed (what we were expecting), Dr. Fagan stood for two hours shaking hands with, talking to and hugging each single one of his patients. Yes, unfortunately Dr. Fagan retired last August. Thank you again for all that you have done for us, Dr. Fagan. We will miss you. It will be very difficult - if possible at all - to find as great a doctor as you have been for your countless patients during the past 42 years.
Spends 5 minutes with you saying he doesn't know what is wrong with you and then says let's do a 6 month follow up even though issues are acute. He then marks down on his billing sheet that the visit was a max complexity case that he spent a considerable amount of time. Please do not visit this man, he is not a good medical doctor.
Dr Fagan will take the time to truly listen to your problems and is a very committed doctor. He is an Associate Professor of Medicine & Pharmacology at the University of Arizona Medical School. I can not imagine a better physician to have looking out for my well being.
