Ratings for Dr. Ronald Rimer
Dr Rimer should not be treating children. He is not compassionate, nor professional and after many years at KPA, he is the reason we left. Another frustration with the KPA practice is that you do not get a choice in doctors there. It's easy to schedule an appointment, and for that we have always been thankful, but you only get "pot luck" with which doctor gets assigned to you. Rarely the same doctor twice so if you are looking for a connection between you and you doctor this may not be the place for you.
We think VERY highly of Dr. Rimer. He is thorough, helpful, diligent, and caring. He has treated five of our children, and while we like all the staff at KPA, we like him the best. His expertise and compassion truly shined when one of our children became ill and didn't recover. He took the time to research the issue, determine that it was not likely to happen with our other kids, and comfort and console us after the fact. During the ordeal, Dr. Rimer would stop in to check on something he had thought of during his daily run. He was always looking for an answer, or something that could swing the outcome in our favor. Subsequently, he has been great with our other kids and we always enjoy working with him. Highest recommendations!
He is in a practice with several Dr.s. He is so thorough and actually listen to the parent and the child. My kids have been seeing him for 9 years. My children love him. He answers all your questions and never treats you as a hysterical overprotective parent(even if sometimes you are). He eases my worries as a parent but most of all my children actually enjoy going to the Dr. because he is so caring. He is truly a blessing to my family.
