Ratings for Dr. Phyllis P. James
While Dr. James is a very nice doctor and I feel comfortable in her care, her employees leave much to be desired. They are rude, loud and obnoxious. And since the wait time it so long (usually over an hour) I have had many opportunities to listen to them gossip and act like fools. They are always talking bad about Dr. James and I have actually heard them talking about how they saw her naked in the gym and were talking bad about her body (as if the overweight girls in the office can really talk!) They need to do their jobs and stop acting like 15 year old girls.
the wait for this doctor is unbearable, making all, if not, most, of the patients wait 30-60 past time scheduled, just for a routine check up. Also have called numerous amount of times to have medication called in to pharmacy, only to be told by the Pharmacist that nothing had been called in, on more then one occasion-this is by far the worst service I have EVER had and wouldn't recommend her to anyone for anything. Your better off going or paying the extra dollar on another doctor.
I am soooo unhappy with Dr. James and her staff and the entire practice. Dr. James is quite pleasant at times but their needs to be some real changes made with her practice. The staff is rude, their are only 8 chairs in the waiting room and usually three people are standing while they wait. The nurse practitioner is stupid and cannot write scripts and frequently the staff will make your appointment with Dr. James and switch it to the nurse practitioner, so while you are waiting and get called back, all of a sudden you are seeing the Nurse Practitioner! Do not go to this practice unless you are extremely ill and the Dr. bob joe is busy. Also why all of a sudden when you get lab work you have to come back and make another appointment with another copay and sit and wait for them to say for two seconds, ok, everything is good see ya! I will never go there again and now they are holding my labwork hostage! I will just contact the lab.
