Dr. Rhea Ford switched my med Simvastatin to Atorvastatin for no reason and when I began to feel adverse symptoms (malaise, muscle pain all over) she ignored my complaints. About the 3rd time I saw her she finally ordered lab tests revealing the Atorvastatin was like a poison to my body. My liver enzymes shot up past 2000, the body pain was severe. Would have been so much less devastating if she had figured it out when I first complained, but she ignored all the clues until it progressed so far I couldn’t get out of bed for 4 months. That’s how long it took my liver to rebuild…it was 5 years until my liver enzymes returned to normal. There is no cure, no medicine to help, I just stayed in bed unable to move feeling severe pain and anger for her misdiagnosis.
