Onoway Regional Medical Clinic

The newly renovated clinic is practical. There is an emergency/surgery room that is fairly well stocked and of sufficient size. A few rooms are quite small but the space is organized well enough. There is another larger room (behind reception) which is a better size for family visits and/or people of larger stature. Staff have changed over the past few years with some more suitable than others, but I have no complaints whatsoever about the service they have provided. I have greatly appreciated the care Dr. Salami has provided for my family and I.

What can I say about my experience with Dr Salami, absolutely nothing positive. His bedside manner is awful, he would not look at me while I voiced my concerns with tears in my eyes. I left his office crying there was no follow up to see if I was ok. This Dr Salami was absolutely terrible to me and dismissive of my problem. The whole situation was not a positive one and would never suggest anyone see this Doctor in the Onoway clinic

My mother had horrible experiences with this clinic and Dr. Salami. Dr Salami refused to investigate my mothers medical issues, was extremely dismissive and actually told her he liked being God. He interfered with medical treatment when she was admitted to hospital and refused to practice patient followup. The clinic supports this sorry excuse of a doctor, so both are to blame for poor patient care. The best thing I did for my parents was find them a Real Pysician. Now my mother is being properly treated for a massive infection Dr Salami dismissed. Word of advice find a different clinic.

3 hours ago The experience I had with Dr.Salami was outrageous. I found him to be condescending and his bed side manner horrible. My daughter had blood work over a month ago and this office neglected to call me with the findings. It was a good thing I called in to make appointments or I would never have been aware. Then to make matters worse upon a phone call appointment I was belittled and the doctor was extremely resistant to answer any of my questions or concerns in regards to my 4 years old daughter. The conversation was ended prior to me being given all of the information. Then upon speaking to Andrea the office manager, she was extremely resistant to hear my concerns, she accused me of being at fault, she also refused to give me any of my daughters medical information and overall refused to advocate for me as a patient. In total I was treated with extreme bias and I do not feel like this office made mine and especially my daughters medical care a priority. We will most definitely will not be going back.
