Biography

Dr. Travis Bailey graduated with his Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Arkansas State University in northeast Arkansas. He later completed his doctorate in optometry from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN. He completed his clinical rotations in pediatric and developmental vision in Charleston, SC and a second at the Veteran Affairs hospital in central Arkansas with emphasis on the treatment of ocular disease. Dr. Bailey feels vision goes beyond 20/20 and provides a thorough eye exam including assessment of eye teaming, focusing and overall ocular health. He has experience in the development of the visual system and pediatric vision and is a member of the College of Optometrists in Vision Development. Dr. Bailey has been in Austin for 3 years and still enjoys spending time exploring the city. You can find him around Town Lake in the summer, playing board games or spending time with his dog Ripley.
