The MRI report from Tejas N. Patel, MD was not even close to being accurate compared to evaluation at MSK of the CD for my MRI performed on Oct. 15, 2018 and reported on by him the following day. MSK reported the following IMPRESSION:
Abnormal MR signal intensity throughout the peripheral zone bilaterally from base
to apex suspicious for tumor with extracapsular extension and seminal vesicle invasion. PI-Rads v2 score 5.
-----------
Dr. Patel reported IMPRESSION: No lesion identified meeting MR criteria for clinically significant disease or suspicious nodule for targeted biopsy. BPH related changes in the transition zone.
PI-RADS 2: Low
-----------
My course of treatment was significantly changed due to the MSK MRI evaluation. Treatment was also delayed due to Dr. Patel's misinterpretation of the MRI at AMI at Manasquan, NJ.
