this person is not a doctor, he has ruined my life. I had back pains and he eventually told me after I did therapy and injection that I needed surgery. I really didn't want to do surgery so he told me and my wife that was in the room that the worse thing that would happen would be that I would be were I was then for pain, no worse. I went to surgery and everyone is correct in saying he is so full of himself but I thought at the time so what as long as he fixes my pain. the guy did far from that, far. far from that. during surgery he punchered my spinel fluid sack, it like someone taking a hammer and smashing your head and that if you don't move. surgery was supposed to take 2-3 hours but ended up 4-5 hrs because of recovery and not once did anyone go out and tell my wife what was going on. he came to recovery and said they couldn't make the repairs and would go back in the next day to make repairs. he ended up making it worse, then in recovery this guy comes and tells me he wasn't expecting to take this long on my surgery and had to fly out that night to Texas for his daughter's graduation. he said one of the other doctors was going to do sn MRI the next morning then go in and make the repairs. still 3 days later it's like someone constantly smashing my head with s hammer. I thought the other doctor would fix everything but he refused to touch me because he didn't want to get sued. I called Boston medical center and they had an ambulance to pick me up within an hour. I spent 29 DAYS at Boston Medical. I now take 14 nerve and pain pills a day. I tried to sue him and no one would take the case because malpractice cases cost 60+thousand to file for case and the lawyers wouldn't put up there own money. I have no feeling on the bottom of my foot, my back pain is a 10 pain level if I don't take my pills. DONT EVER GO TO THE GUY. I say guy because he's not a doctor. I wish my pain on him.

This man’s actions and behavior border on criminal. I would take my dog to him. Numerous complaints filed with the RI Department of Health went ignored until he acted inappropriately in the operating room and got caught and reprimanded. He’s abusive and not very good at his work. A word of caution as his past is reprehensible.

Update from my previous review; date of service was May 2021. The visit was for fluid removal of my knee. I’m still in pain, the knee continues to feel unsteady even with bracing and a cane. I’m wondering if my future knee replacement will work out with the permanent damage-8 months of this misery. He’s a doctor who doesn’t spend enough time or care with patients. He doesn’t deserve even 1 star.

I saw him in May 2021 for fluid removal on my knee. The knee was swollen and painful; he was very rough and angry. He forced my knee down, the pain was horrible. The doctor knew I was in pain; he didn’t care. With the pain after; I had to use a walker for 30 days. He’s not someone that cares about people: bad experience.

Do you enjoy seeing a self absorbed surgeon who’s skills no where near match his narcissism? Do you want to become permanently disabled due to surgery? Then this is your guy

This Doctor is terrible. Gave me a 2 minute evaluation working for the insurance company. Totally screwed me over and now insurance isn’t paying for any medical procedures. This guy is a pompous a$$. Do not use this doctor!!!

Stay away!! You Wait over an hour to see him and his personality sucks. I thought the first time maybe he was having a bad day I gave him the benefit of the doubt. Also The first visit he suggested therapy to relieve pinched nerves. I didn't use their PT first of all because I couldn't get them on the phone to make an appt. And then I decided to choose one near my home because it would be easier to get too. The next visit he was very annoyed when he asked why I wasn't using their therapy. Like it was all about the money in his pocket. Once he realized I wasn't using their facility for PT all of a sudden it was oh well therapy won't help you and he wanted to give me injections in my back even though he said they wouldn't bring the feeling back into my toes?! Each visit he was arrogant and rude and even an intern that was training with him was shocked by the way he was speaking to me. Cutting me off when I would try to speak and talking over me. At one point crossing his arms and tapping his foot in annoyance after I asked him to let me finish speaking. I didn't let him do the injections and I cancelled any remaining appts with him. There are plenty of orthopedic doctors who actually listen and care. This guy is a quack who just does things to get your money. I'm glad I didn't let him touch my back after reading what damage he did to other people. I don't know how he is still in business.

I didn't think he really listened to what I had to say, but he has operated on me several times & I have got off the table every time with speedy recoveries. Now I am seeing him again, I don't think I have much of a choice because if insurance. Overall I'm still walking better after my surgeries that before. I wish the best for all !!

I would NEVER recommend him to anyone and I don't know why he still practices. I wish I had read more reviews about him before I had the surgery on my ack. he sat in the exam room with my wife and I and said the surgery was going to make me better. That was a lie because like some of the other reviews I lost feeling to my left foot and have issues standing for more than 15 minutes, sometimes less. during the surgery he punctured my spinal fluid sack (like a slug hammer smashing on your head). he tried to repair it once and didn't work, tried to repair it twice and didn't work again. he had to leave the state for a graduation and left another doctor to make the 3rd repair but the other doctor would not touch me and left me there for 2 days in extreme pain. I transferred to another hospital, the back surgery was a bigger mistake but this site only allows certain amount of words to explain. PLEASE READ BEFORE SURGERY
