My name is GASTON JACQUES Patient at the Depressive Disorders Program, Douglas Institute.
They saved my life. Since the departure of Dr Jollant in december 2015, I became the patient of Stephan Devantoy, he is ARROGANT. PRETENTIOUS AND DANGEROUS. Also what ever method that were extremely brilliant that worked in the past, he chooses to ignore ( he know better ) Making me so ANGRY after my second meeting with him almost brought me back to suicidal during a period of 3 months. 3 months is a very long time. HE LIED to me in my face. First he said he never received anything from me. I confirmed with the medical secretary if he did before my meeting with him. She verified and HIS initials were on each document. So I confronted him. He was very surprise that I had that information. I might be just a patient, not a psychiatrist like he likes to remind me of all the time, but I am far from being stupid. SO he said that he never had a look at them. I will let you decide what to think about this. I very clearly understand the job description and the difference between a psychiatrist and a psychologist. My point is that THIS PSYCHIATRIST is responsible to keep me alive. He has MY life in his HANDS. It is IRRESPONSIBLE, UNPROFESSIONAL and DANDEROUS if he keeps behaving the way he does. I am requesting to see another psychiatrist because it is clear to me that this person is not there to help me. I m still trying to figure out what he is doing at Douglas.

PS: If anything happens to me between NOW and the time I meet another PSYCHIATRIST I insist that an investigation is put in place, for me and for the ones that care for me, FACTS are FACTS ALL I JUST SAID IS IN MY FILE OF THE DOUGLAS INSTITUTE.
