Biography

Dr. Sean J. Henderson earned his bachelor’s degree from University of Utah. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona. He went on to complete his urology residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center and Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania from 2010-2015. During his residency training, he received many recognitions for his devotion to patients and research including the 2014-2015 resident of the year, served as chief urology resident during his last year of training and was nationally recognized for the 2015 ACOS (American College of Osteopathic Surgeons) resident achievement award. He later served as a board member of the ACOS for 2 years. Because of his love for helping and treating cancer patients, he pursued additional training completing a fellowship in robotic surgery for urological oncology and reconstruction using the da Vinci® Robotic platform at Ohiohealth Methodist Hospital, a member of the MD Anderson Cancer Network®, in Dublin, Ohio from 2015-2016. He recently joined the Urology Clinic of Utah Valley in August 2016. He is an active member of the American Urological Association. He treats a wide range of urological diseases with a focus on urological cancers using robotic surgery. He enjoys outdoor activities and sports. He has been married for almost 15 years and together, he and his wife have 4 children.
