Been my family doctor for several years and he's helped me tremendously over the years. He comes across as caring and hard working and I don't have anything bad to say about my experiences with him. He would often talk with me for much longer than the scheduled 10 mins, so I never felt rushed or unabe to address any concerns; he always listened and answered all my questions. He follows up on any medical requests I've had and has always been there so he has been essential to my overall health. Great doctor all around.

Moved to Toronto one year ago from south western Ontario. Very grateful to be under Dr. Ryan Chen's care. Knowledgeable, professional, caring were just a few words often used by many previous reviewers ( patients ) re; Dr. Chen. My wife and I couldn't agree more as per our few telephone calls this past year with our doctor concerning various medical issues. After my recent December in-person physical assessment, first by his med student Pedro followed up by Dr. Chen, I can honestly add the word comfortable to this review. And last but not least, the office staff deserves more than a 5 star mention for their patience.

Dr Chen always takes the time to listen, provides excellent solutions for issues and is generally very helpful and knowledgeable. He provides really strong recommendations but also takes the time to follow up and check if all went well or pivot should alternative advice/medicine is needed. I highly recommend!

I finally found a doctor who has diagnosed and treated me correctly. So many times I've been bounced around and tried treatments that didn't work in past. What can I say, Dr. Ryan Chen has been with me through some ups and downs, and I think I'm finally on a good course thanks to him.

Have been seeing him for 4 years. Always in a rush. Feel like he doesn’t care. I am very frustrated. Doesn’t take a holistic approach - analyzing all health concerns and connecting the dots. Focused on one issue only, doesn’t provide any information or guidance. Always feel frustrated and dissatisfied.
He gives prescriptions and referrals, but, family doctor should really take time to listen and not rush the conversation.

Great caring, knowledgeable and skilled doc. We've been seeing steady improvements in my varicose veins since he started treating them. Clinic can be busy but otherwise no issues!
