Dr. Aziz is just a great man and doctor. I've seen him several times, and it's been a very long time since I've encountered a doctor of his calibre. I wish he was my GP!!

First visit after 2 Afib events.
He immediately adjusted my meds and added 3 new ones.
Explained my symptoms and set up several tests "to get to the bottom of this" was his expression.
Very straightforward, but with a sense of compassion.
Looking forward to a second consultation next week to discuss the test results.

Throughout the lead up to and the insertion of a replacement valve I dealt with Mina Aziz via Zoom long distance from Parksville. He is a little bit of everything you want a great Cardiologist to be - a good listener, cheerleader and a superb pharmacologist
who chooses the exact medications needed to keep the patient alive.

Dr Aziz is a wonderful cardiologist who not only displays a wonderful level of knowledge but of compassion. His smile and pleasant attitude brought much comfort to my husband who suffered a heart attack. He is a tribute to his profession.

Dr. Aziz is very easy to communicate with. He arranged for hospital tests and is very thorough with his follow up. I had only one contact with his office staff and that was to arrange a phone consultation time after a referral from my family doctor and she was very helpful.
