I was referred to Dr. Aron for sudden hearing loss and have seen her 4-5 times. The staff is friendly, empathetic, and accommodating. Dr. Aron expedited my referrals and treatment. She and her staff made me feel like I could call any time and be seen immediately if necessary. There was one optional treatment for which Dr. Aron provided a balanced assessment of the pros and cons. Importantly, she also told me what she would do if she was in my place. She seems up to date on the latest research and often answered questions with helpful statistics. I feel like I'm in good hands.

Dr. Aron has literally changed my life. For years I suffered with sinus issues, and over the last year I was getting infection after infection. I was finally able to get a referral for ENT and it happened to be with Dr. Aron. Although the wait from initial referral was long, but it’s understandable considering how amazing she is. After my initial visit I got the much needed relief I needed. Few months later prior to a follow up appointment I had an issue and called the office. The MOA was also super kind, got me in on a cancelled appointment. During this appointment I had to get my ear drum drained, although I was super nervous and scared, Dr. Aron presented me with a few options and at the end I chose to have my ear drained. The procedure itself was painful but Dr Aron was so kind, stopped when I needed a break. I highly recommend her to anyone that needs an ENT. She is absolutely amazing!!

This will be a very real review.
MOAs: the brunette was very unfriendly but the blonde was nice.
Punctuality : she was 20min late but that is quite normal with doctors especially with specialists.
Knowledgeable: VERY .
Helpfulness: she is committed to finding out what's going on.
Story: My mum is 86. Her Dr. Called 16 different ENTs and she was the only one willing to see her. Dr's blow off seniors and don't give them equal care. Dr Aron tries to keep on time and was apologetic. She does not have time for stories and wants to get to the facts. I can see how some may be offended or feel not heard. BUT she did testing that nobody has bothered to do. She had insight that nobody has brought up. She is very intelligent and good at what she does. She is empathetic but is also efficient.
Mom mom has lived with vertigo and dizziness for years now. She has had scans and seen specialist. My mom is also a retired nurse and is 100% "with it" and on a good day gets more done than a healthy 40 yr old.
My mom was impressed. My mom is now hopeful that she will finally get help. It was worth the trip to Burnaby.

These reviews have to be fake, because I went to her for my nose and her level of patience was little to nothing seems like she’s over her job.

Dr. Aron was absolutely the worst/rudest doctor I have ever experienced. 0 empathy skills with 0 patience in terms of listening to what is actually going on. I came in to get my nose assessed but she refered me to nasal spray which wont fix my issue long term. I told her to her face that she had 0 empathy skills because she truly was trying to make the appointment about herself because I told her she doesnt know what im experiencing "I have the same problem" . She kept telling me that doing surgery wont fix my nose "cosmetically" which is far off from the reason I came in and to make that assumption is really sick. I have a pretty crooked nose and have had several doctors tell me to speak to an ENT. I waited 4 months for this appointment to basically be shoved out the door after 10 minutes. Please dont waste your time with her she is literally the worst. The front desk woman was very very nice though

Literally sat in her chair with tears in my eyes and she cared more about getting me out of her office than she did actually explaining what was wrong. I've never had a doctor make me feel more stupid and ill-informed. Basically blamed me for being misinformed, kept making Snyd comments about how it wasn't her fault I didn't have the right information. I was told I was waiting a year and a half for surgery, and instead was met by this extremely rude, standoffish person who didn't give a care about the person in front of her. She opened her door and basically kicked me out of her office after 10 minutes because she couldn't be bothered to explain what was going on. I waited for a year and a half to have my time wasted and to run out of a doctors office in tears because I felt completely powerless.. it's a shame that we have so few doctors that your stuck with people like her who don't care if your suffering or not. She basically said she "didn't want to" sent me for allergy testing and now I just feel like I'm.back to square one with no answers.

I ruptured my left ear drum and went to ER and got referred to a specialist. This specialist then referred me to Dr. Aron. My wife was able to book an appointment due to a cancelation and I went to the Burnaby office Friday morning (exactly 2 weeks after injury). Parking was easy enough but finding my way out of the lot to her office was a bit of a trek with all the locked doors. Her staff, starting with initial phone calls to first meeting and filling out forms, was extremely helpful and kind. In addition, I didn't have to wait beyond my appointed time. I had not read any reviews of Dr. Aron before meeting her but she seemed friendly and welcoming as I entered. She was patient to hear what had happened and was able to sneak me in for a hearing test right away. Raya was friendly in administering the hearing test and it took about 15 minutes. I re-entered Dr. Aron's office where she immediately began her assessment and diagnosed the state of my ear. She was gentle in cleaning out both my ears and was thorough in checking my canal walls through the nose and both ears using equipment that seemed high-tech. Her hygiene was satisfying as she cleaned her equipment and washed her hands in between the different tests. I felt very informed and comforted by her responses and the care she gave me in my distressed and anxious state. Upon coming home, I decided to write this review and was shocked to see such negative reviews written in the past. I can't speak for other's experiences with Dr. Aron, but I wanted to leave a review that would help others who are looking for a qualified ENT. This was my personal first meeting and I have a follow up in 2 weeks but as of now, I was very pleased and raved about this doctor to my wife and my mother-in-law when I got home. They are the ones who told me to write up this review. Hope this helps someone.

My husband has suffered for two years with extreme pain in his ear, and after seeing countless specialists, Doctors, walk in clinics, emergency visits, and dentists, was extremely lucky to have been sent to Dr. Aron! Within minutes she had diagnosed his problem and he was quickly admitted to hospital for successful surgery! Cannot say enough about Dr. Aron’s professionalism…as my husband says” when she walked into the O.R. she owned the room”. We will be forever grateful to her for helping my husband take back his life! Thank you Dr. Aron!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My husband went to see Dr. Aaron. Sent him for a test, but drops the ball when it comes to following through on ordering tests, office never returns calls when they said they would. Very unprofessional in all aspects. Only cares about the pay checque not the patient..

I'm sorry to say, but I am a linguistics professor and I can tell quite easily that most of the positive reviews on here were written by the same person.
My experience with Dr. Aron was certainly less-than-helpful. I am eternally hopeful that future patients do have better experiences than I. My experience involved an attitude of which began as condescending and close-minded, but turned downright mean and insulting by the end of my visit. A few of her comments still resonate with me, in particular one which I feel attacked my culture. We are patients: human and in a vulnerable position here, yet I felt like another number/robot to be ticked off her daily list. Do you not need to take a class on etiquette or ethics in med school anymore?
