Hands down the best optometrist I have ever met ! I suffered from dry eye to such an extent that it has really adversely impacted my ability to function properly, read, or even keep my eyes open. After many failed attempts, trying to find solutions with other optometrists and ophthalmologists, I found his clinic in Dorval. He has a fantastic staff and a great clinic with state of the art equipment. I really appreciate his willingness, patience and interest in answering all questions - going as far as to even talk to me about the eye in all its complexities or even recent developments in dry eye treatments. He is a profoundly caring doctor and thanks to him, my eyes aren't bothering me much at all anymore. I'm incredibly grateful to Dr. Louis-Philippe Bougie Bastien and strongly recommend him as the best optometrists around.

Consultation avec Dr. Bougie Bastien . J’ai accepté avec plaisir que le docteur me suive à l’avenir suite au départ du Dr. Silver de cette clinique. J’avais déjà vu Dr. Bougie Bastien pour examen de la vue. Il est très gentil et toujours prêt à répondre à nos questions et nos inquiétude. Le personnel féminin est très agréable à côtoyer. La disponibilité et le temps du rendez vous est respecté, tout cela fait avec le sourire. Merci à tous et bonne chance et bonne continuité pour votre clinique.

I very confident in his ability - he will ask for another opinion when he is in doubt. He has the latest equipment for testing. A 100% improvement over the last owner.

This was the 3rd visit with Dr Bastien. He took the time and care to give me a thorough examination, leaving nothing to chance. I am a diabetic and need an annual follow up, and I have complete faith in his ability to ensure prevention of serious eye disease that could lead to blindness. He answered all my questions, explained each exam and tests he did. i My husband is also a satisfied client. I highly recommend Dr Bastien to everyone needing an optometrist. His gentle manner will also allow you to feel comfortable and at ease, and relaxed for your visit!
