Simply an amazing audiologist who has empathy for the patient. Is sincere about understanding and meeting patient needs. She was very clear as to making the right recommendation of a hearing aid that would do the most to help me gain better hearing. Dr. Zitelli exemplifies UPMC's life changing medicine motto!

I entered Dr. Lori Zitelli's therapy program for tinnitis, hyperacusis, and misophonia in August, 2015. Her expertise has made an enormous positive difference in the quality of my life. Before entering the program, I feared that my condition might force me into early retirement or even into living as a recluse. I am now (May 2016) coping far more successfully with my hyperacusis, and foresee a far more normal life for me. I'm very grateful to her and to her staff at the Eye & Ear Institute at UPMC.
