Very helpful and knowledgeable. I especially like her compassion and sincerity. I asked if I could squeeze my friend into her panel, but I know her panel is packed full; I guess patients out there know how good she is.

One point: I had to wait once because the patient scheduled before me arrived late and insisted on being seen without considering that the rest of us waiting in queue were punctual. Then, a guy after me started getting hot tempered at the staff because his appointment didn't start on time. It always bugs me when inconsiderate patients like these think that the world should bend for them. Doctors are literally saving lives; have some respect and patience--doctors deserve it.

Very unhelpful. doesn't ever let you talk or explain your issues, always late, just a few of the things I've experienced in the past 5+ years of being my doctor. Received an MRI for back pain and numbness and pain in leg after pulling teeth to get one and she didn't even look at the MRI or report from the MRI. Prior to the MRI she insisted it was simply a strained muscle, unfortunately for me it wasn't that simple. Based on the report from Radiology, it was actually 3 bulged discs with protrusion on one, moderate disc degeneration, moderate stenosis, and retrolisthesis in 3 of my vertebrae...Far from a simple muscle strain. Even after receiving the report and MRI (which I was able to see and inspect for myself given it was an outside referral) she only told me that I had arthritis and mild stenosis. NOTHING about any of the other issues present in the report and MRI scans. If you care about your current and long term health, steer clear and find a different doctor.

My experience with Linda Okamoto is always horrible. I scheduled a phone visit as doctors offices were closed due to pandemic. She was 30 minutes late. A horrible first impression. Then rushed me for my time during the call and rushed through all of my concerns. It was horrible.
Anytime I had a question/request I had to follow up multiple times due to NO RESPONSES from the doctor or her office.
My blood pressure has started being high this past year and I scheduled an appointment to have it checked and get advice. They were 45 minutes late for that appointment. I had to go back up to the front desk where I checked in and they finally called my name after that. Other patients that arrived after me were getting called. It was ridiculous that they overlooked my appointment time and upon getting my blood pressure checked, her doctor's office told me it is no big deal and that I should just relax more. So unprofessional. It seems like they just wanted me back out the door very quickly.
I am young, but that does not mean that my health concerns do not matter. I finally had enough of her unprofessionalism and switched doctors.

I have been very happy with Dr. Okamoto. As a D.O. she is supportive of my desire to try alternative methods rather than automatically resort to medications which sometimes cause me to have undesirable side effects. She listens to me and as a result, I have had some very positive health outcomes using lifestyle and dietary changes. I needed a form to be filled out and she patiently went through it with me, question by question. I was impressed with that because details can get lost in translation. I gave 4 stars for punctuality but I know that doctors have a lot on their plate these days so it was not a big deal for me. We all need to be more patient and appreciative.

Dr. Okamoto is thorough and makes sure that I'm getting the correct treatment and medicine for my problem. Some other doctors blindly fill prescriptions just to get patients off their backs, but Dr. Okamoto really cares and will not compromise on quality of care. I am happy to pay $25 copay, compared to getting the wrong diagnosis and ending up in the ER.

I was transferred to Dr. Okamoto when my former Kaiser doc retired. He'd been prescribing me meds for years. I asked her to refill them and she refused. She said I had to come in so she could reevaluate me (for meds I've been on for years). I told her I didn't have enough money for the meds AND a copay. She said that I was out of luck. I then suffered side effects from running out of meds. Dr. Okamoto is a rigid person with the usual god complex who doesn't get patients are her customers. Steer clear of this one.
