Biography

Dr Kris Nowakowski practises as a cardiologist at the Canberra Heart Clinic, and holds the positions of cardiology staff specialist and clinical lead in echocardiography at the Canberra Hospital and clinical lecturer at the Australian National University. Dr Nowakowski is a highly trained and experienced echocardiography specialist (echocardiologist) in Canberra. He successfully completed a two year clinical echocardiography fellowship at leading cardiology centres of excellence in Australia and Canada and the National Board exam of special competence in echocardiography. Dr Nowakowski has been certified as a Diplomate in echocardiography by the American National Board of Echocardiography and was elected as a Fellow of the American Society of Echocardiography in recognition of his expertise and extraordinary commitment to cardiovascular ultrasound.
