Great doctor. Best I've had. The wait times are long, but to me, it's worth it.

Dr. Turner is smart and takes the time to listen to my concerns in detail. She has given me great advice and I will keep going back. The office is old but functional.

I have experienced the staff will refuse prescriptions that I require, to have me come in to retake a lab test that l feel is just to bill Social Security. I was assured by Dr Turner this would never happen, but it has multiple times.

Dont expect to know when your results are in as the front office staff does not call you to let you know they are in at all. I had to chase them down. What's even more frustrating is my results had to be read in person so i had tk make another appt and of course her office didn't call to let me know that. I waited a week come to find out theu recieved my results same day then tried to schedule my results appt out 2 weeks later! That would have been 3 weeks! Who knows how long if I didnt call. No one calls back and yhe front office ladies are rude and seem irritated when uou actually ask them questions to do their job. Dr Turner is nice but it absolutely isnt worth having to deal with the rest of the staff. Easily the worst Drs office I have ever been too.

I have seen Dr Turner for over 5 years. I have never had any problems with the office or the Dr. She has been compassionate, professional, answers all my questions. Referrals have always been done in a timely fashion. The time in the office is sometimes long but I know when it is my time she sits and listens to me and has always addressed my concerns.

I came to Dr. Turner with a history of DCIS. I went for follow up mammagrams. The most recent turned up a problem, I made an appointment for a biopsy. Upon arrival the head radiologist and I spoke about the placement of the calcifications and the previous surgery and radiation I had had...we BOTH determined that the chances of this being malignant was about 10% and watching and waiting was perfectly acceptable. I called Dr. Turner's office to get a referral for a specialist, I never heard back from anyone. Today I got a certified letter, chastising me for not keeping my appointment for this lifesaving treatment...There is no dialogue between doctor and patient and they seem to presume we are all morons with no rights for educated opinions. This office is 50 years behind the times. with the average appointment lasting about 90 mins as waiting takes almost an hour. mMybe Dr. Turner should not try to do everything as an independent. one bright light Durena, who was very helpful.
