Judgmental, insensitive and even aggressive if you didn’t agree with what she was saying. Horrible experience. I had one initial appointment and 5 minutes in, I knew I wouldn’t return. Ended up leaving bc she was so horrible.

The only thing she focused on was barbiturate & opiate showing up in toxicology report in ER failing to read that it was administered by EMTs. I had several issues resulting from improper intubation; pneumonia, stomach valve damage, & broken sternum from CPR. Never asked about those conditions instead decided to admonish me for drug use. When I pointed out that it was given by EMTs, she started flipping out that the hospital had prescribed me pain meds. She put that in my online chart but failed to put antibiotics & other meds that hospital prescribed. Given 5mg percocet #20 is not an unreasonable amount for a broken sternum & her office wouldn't take off script so every specialist seen for the next 8 mos. thought I was on pain meds. Finally got a specialists staff member to remove it. The one good note is I love her nurse practitioner & feel I get better care from her plus her office staff is great.

I had a appointment for a yearly check up. She dismissed my concerns about feeling tired and not being able to sleep at night. She told me I needed to exercise and I would feel better. She listened yo my lungs and that was it. I looked at the bill submitted to my insurance company and saw that they were charged over 500.00 for this visit. I felt like I totally wasted my time.

I also find her very rushed and all over the place. I go to her tiverton office and I've been going in countless times for lyme disease. Instead of testing me for other bacterias spread through ticks she keeps testing me over and over for lyme, which keeps coming back positive. She tells me it's not chronic Lyme, but I keep getting re-infected. The back pain and fatigue is absolutely horrible, I'm looking for a new primary. On top of this, the anti biotics she prescribed me are known to cause suicidal thoughts and depression so I asked her to switch me to a different kind ... And she didn't even have on file that I had ever been on the meds she prescribed me 2 treatments already! She generally just seems uninterested and in a hurry. Nice woman but I need a doctor who wants to solve my problems, not just rush me along.

Did vistit Jane Miniutti's office as a patient twice, and am looking for a new primary. I must say the 2013 review sounds more accurate of what you may exepct to find at her office. I found her extremely rushed and generally uninterested. The office staff is efficient but the medical assistants there are terribly rude and brusque.

My two daughters and I are patients of Dr. Minutti. She is extremly knowlegable and willing to listen and work with your health issues. I absolutely love her! The staff is excellent too. I can get the same day appointments for my children when they are sick. In a word... Wonderful!!!

Doesn't believe in prescribing ANY pain medicine. I injured my back & have degenerative discs all she would prescribe was Naproxen which is only for mild pain (mine was severe)& u can buy it over the counter.I went to her with an infected boil she said it was fine & just put warm compresses on it-next DAY I was in emergency room with blood poisoning from boil she said wasn't infected!Had the flu, bronchitus & got there B4 office opened-secretaries saw me standing in 24 degree weather with icy sleet pouring down & didn't even open the door to let me in! Made me wait outside! Which made my bronchitus way worse! Aches & pains I saw her for that she told me was just "old age" have since turned out 2 be treatable things that I suffered in pain with for years because she never ordered tests or treated it when it was at a managagable point. She moved offices and her old secretaries told me they think she lost interest after her kids were born & that ppl voiced similar complaints about her
