I had a terrible experience as a patient with Dr. Wu and her receptionist at her Burnaby, Kingsway clinic (Precision Perio). I had a consultation with her and asked her if my wife can come into the room to listen with me, but she ignored my question and disregarded my wishes for my wife to be present with me during the consultation. She did not even acknowledge or listen my request and kept talking without any empathy. The receptionist was just as rude, she kept telling my wife that she herself as the receptionist will tell my wife about my conditions. I did not pay the receptionist to give me or my family member medical consultation and advice. This is out of the scope of a receptionist, she should be heavily reprimanded.

The consultation Dr. Wu gave me was also very poorly done, she barely spent any time with me and just asked her assistant to give me X-rays for my whole mouth, which hurt very badly and was terribly done. I was very unhappy with this, but even more upset with how Dr. Wu treated myself and my family member. She was very very rude to us, made us feel insulted, and she does not have the quantities of what a doctor or dentist should be. Please avoid this dentist at all costs.

Dr Ivy Wu is very caring and kind. I had surgeries from her 3 times. Excellent skills. Excellent knowledge. Excellent bedside manor. I recommend to everybody.

My experience was less than stellar. She's knowledgable hence the degrees but appeared to need more experience with complicated procedures.

I've been visiting their clinic in North Vancouver by Lonsdale Quay for 3 visits. Just finished my last visit yesterday and the report was better than expected. My deep pocket are recovering remarkably with post deep pocket cleaning antibiotics and laser treatments. Staffs are nice and appointments are on time.

I visited a different specialist by Oakridge Center, all he cares is money and expensive operations. Not going to name names, but not that many periodontist in the mall so don't go there.

Couldn't be nicer and more reassuring. I would not hesitate to return to see her.
