Dr Yau has been my GP/PCP for five+ years. He is the most caring and empathetic physician I’ve had in my entire 60+ years. He listens, he provides good feedback and care and is a willing partner in MY health. I am happy and feel lucky to have him as my doctor.

Dr. Yau has been my doctor for about 6 years and for my kids as well. Getting him to help, look into things, get a referral, has been agonizing. He’s made me feel stupid for having concerns and I leave the office feeling confused.

Dr. Yau has been my GP for years and I can’t say enough positive things about him. He is always kind, willing to take the time to answer your questions and thoroughly attend to your concerns. I have found many doctors to be dismissive and think they always know better than the patient, however Dr. Yau will continue to listen and work with you to help solve any of your concerns. The offices are always clean, and I never have to wait for my appointment. I would recommend Dr. Yau to anyone.

Dr Yau has been my and my wife’s family doctor for over 5yrs and he is a great person, very kind, very knowledgeable doctor we never had before in Canada! Thank you so much for helping my wife’s bleeding and other symptoms!! If he’s not the best, I don’t know who’s the doctor in Ottawa!! Thank you again, Doctor Yau!!!

Dr. Yau is a wonderful doctor.
First of all, he is a kind and caring person.
He listens! He is also a superb good at communicator. He asks good questions, and gently probes at my answers to find out more. His gentle and soft spoken manner immediately puts you at ease.
Dr. Yau is a skilled physician. He is thorough in his questions and his ability to diagnose an ailment is top notch. If he isn’t sure about something, he will dig deeper to figure it out. He takes the time to hear me out and consider what I have to say or to answer my questions. He establishes a trusted relationship with me and I feel I am a true partner in my health,
I’ve seen many physicians in my 62 years, having had brushes with cancer and other serious conditions and Dr. Yau is definitely the best of them all.

Dr. Yau has been my family doctor for a number of years now. He is incredibly thorough in his testing and process and takes the time to really listen. After switching from a few doctors, I finally found a doctor who genuinely cares about his patients. He always makes you feel comfortable and follows up. When they pivoted to telephone health calls due to COVID, he was equally as attentive and balancing the risks of Covid and the health of the patient. I believe there is now a waitlist to get him as your family doctor, but I promise you he would be worth the wait! His staff also always answer the phone, even if they do have to put you on hold for a couple of minutes. At other clinics, sometimes they just never answer.
