    Biography

My interest in obstetrics and gynecology began during my medical school rotation in the field. I loved the patient relationships that I witnessed and enjoyed the continuity of care and longevity of those relationships. Being in the OR was fascinating and exciting and there is no better feeling than handing a new mom her healthy baby. I enjoy the personal relationships I am able to develop with my patients, guiding them safely through their pregnancies or through transitions of their health, whether it is adolescence or menopause. I love when my patietns return to me, bringing along their children that I have delivered. I completed my undergraduate degree in biochemistry at Lehigh University, where I met my husband. We both loved the Lehigh Valley and knew we wanted to make our home here to raise our family. After earning my medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, I returned to the Lehigh Valley to do my OB/GYN residency at St. Luke's, where I did many of my medical school rotations. It was great being a part of the St. Luke's family and after graduation I chose a position in a private practice that worked out of St. Luke's Allentown Campus. In 2013 I joined the St. Luke's Physician Group and built a practice at our Anderson Campus delivering babies at the Bethlehem Campus. It's been amazing to watch the practice grow. I delivered my 100th baby for this practice in April of 2015 and we will be close to 200 deliveries by the end of the year. The most exciting development is the addition of my partner, Dr. Christin Gillier, who was also trained at St. Luke's. On a personal note, I enjoy spending time with my husband, son and daughter enjoying the outdoors or watching movies. I also dabble in photography, primarily capturing family memories.
