I was misdiagnosed by Dr. Hilary Dolan in March of 2015. I went in to see her, complaining of a very red eye, a throbbing eye socket, incredible sensitivity to light, and cloudy vision. She spent about 3-5 minutes with me and determined it was allergies... in both eyes. So, she prescribed Zylet. I took the Zylet over the weekend and by Monday, all of my symptoms were worse, including (scarily enough), my cloudiness of vision. I saw another doctor at the same practice and he immediately identified it as uveitis, which if untreated for long enough, causes loss of vision. He sent me to Duke Eye Center who marked me as "urgent" and put me in front of a doctor straightaway. She described my condition as serious, and gave me some powerful drops to use. Because of Dr. Dolan's laziness, I was misdiagnosed. If she had spent any reasonable amount of time looking at my eye, she would have known it wasn't an allergy. And, she prescribed the drops for both eyes when my left eye is completely healthy!! Now, I am 4 days untreated properly and it should have been one day. I would definitely go elsewhere, if you need someone to pay any reasonable amount of attention to your symptoms.
