My husband and I have had several appointments with her and I believe she should not have a medical license. It is actually unbelievable how awful she is and I can give way too many examples. She doesn't want to answer more than one question per appointment. She filled out a referral incorrectly so I should've had an ultrasound in a week but instead I made probably 20 phone calls and over a month later I finally got it. I requested a referral to an anxiety support group and she yelled at me. As an anxious pregnant woman, I told her I was worried about various things harming my baby and her advice was "don't worry about it." That is not helpful advice to someone with anxiety. My husband had a phone appointment asking for a prescription. She said she'd send it. He checked the next day and the clinic never received the prescription so he called the office back. The front desk staff had no record of his prescription or phone call so the doctor called him back and she had zero recollection of the phone call and insisted it never happened. He said okay can you send the prescription again then please? And she refused and hung up on him. She is also extremely difficult to understand. I desperately want to find a new doctor, but with the shortage of doctors, it seems impossible.

I would not recommend this doctor to anyone. She does not listen, she spoke over me and interrupted me throughout my entire appointment. I came to her with mental health concerns only to be dismissed, laughed at and have her roll her eyes at me. After explaining to her how debilitating my mental health has been, she sent me home with papers to “see if I was just depressed”. She was extremely argumentative and just seemed to want to end the appointment as fast as possible, even though she was 20+ minutes late. She answered her cellphone twice during my appointment and was extremely unprofessional. I have been seeing her for almost a year and have never had a good interaction with her. She should not have a medical license.

She talks more than listens. Is also very loud and I am sure whoever is in the next room hears all.

We have recently started to go to Dr. Olayemi as our long-term doctor Retired. We have been very happy with her knowledge and her mannerism and her care and concern and recommendations for follow up to make sure everything is good.

She was very rude, talked over me and was argumentative. I was looking to have a sick note for work written up which I understand is a drain on our medical system and I don’t agree with but was required by my employer. She quoted policy that was fabricated and when I questioned her on it she changed her story multiple times. She also blamed me for the circumstances, and for context I’m a first responder who was injured on duty….. Very unprofessional and unbecoming of a doctor

Had a traumatic event last summer and scheduled to see Dr Olayemi. She was very thorough, was able to identify the concerns and very eager to hear me out. She listened to me and walked me through the path of recovery. I'd rather go to Stonewall than trust some of the doctors here in Winnipeg. The staff was also helpful from the time I walked in and they provided timely support.

My doctor had retired and the Interlake Regional Health Authority suggested Dr O. At first impressions I found her intimidating and forceful. Upon my second visit I told her how she made me feel and she opened up completely with me and was very kind. She is a "facts" Doctor. She gives you the choices and lets you decide. I have seen her several times since my primary appointment and she has been very helpful and kind. You must understand she comes from a different community where life is handled differently. She is very thorough and will not prescribe anything that she doesn't support. She will tell you right away if this is against her beliefs and medical training. I respect her opinion and directness now. She has helped me with my concerns to date and I really enjoy my visits with her. My retired Doctor was amazing - and I knew he'd be a hard act to follow. The medical system in MB is so busy - its very hard to even find a doctor

She made me feel like everything is in my head and didn’t take me seriously. She was rude and made me feel like an inconvenience. No human skills and should not be working in health care. Was told to take adville went to another doc and found out I have MS. She wouldn’t even do test for my pain. It’s all in my head.
