He is wonderful and provided really good care to my mother in hospital. She was convinced it was her hernia giving her the attacks but he said it was stones and sure enough, he did surgery and cleared several stones from her gallbladder that had been growing for the past several years...she is pain free now.

Dr Jowhari performed my husband's colonoscopy. He was very attentive, listened to his concerns and was very understanding even though for whatever reason my husband's bowel prep/cleanse was poor despite following all instructions. In no way did my husband feel slighted because the colonoscopy could not be done to completion. Dr Jowhari's follow-up and report was excellent and put my husband at ease even though he does have to repeat his colonoscopy.

this doctor took a huge cancer out of my bowel. saved me from getting surgery which would be hard on my body. he explained my options clearly and was very professional. i appreciate your care deeply for taking such good care of me.

Curious if he has stocks in restoralax because that’s obviously his go to solution. Will be asking my dr to send me to a specialist not someone who gives 4-5 diagnosis with nothing to back any of them. What’s the old saying throw enough feces against the wall in hopes some will stick. Extemely disappointed with him. Didn’t listen to a word I said. Complete waste of time. If you are waiting to see him I recommend getting on a different drs wait list.

I was in KGH for 10 days and over the last weekend Dr.Jowhari was the GI on call. He was so kind, and genuinely cared about my health, instead of just popping in and waiting for my GI to be back on Monday. He even came in on Monday to follow up. Kelowna is so lucky to have such a knowledgeable young doctor. Count yourself lucky of you get referred to him, you are in caring capable hands. When my awesome GI doc retires and if I am still in need of care, I hope my file gets passed along to him.

I am very thankful for this doctor. He was amazing . He did the most for me, prescribed me with new medication that helped my so much when every other doctor minimized my reflux.
