Dr. Schwechter performed a total right hip replacement in January of this year. I'm doing things I never thought I'd be able to do again and it's only been 3.5 months since surgery! He has given me my life back and more. From the very first visit I knew he was the doctor I wanted to go with; he did not rush into surgery but instead examined every possibility first. It took me over a year to really be ready for this surgery, and once I was I knew I was in good hands. The recovery has been so seamless; my friends are amazed at how fast I am getting back to the things I love.

I was very thankful and pleased with the outcome of my total knee replacement! Dr. Schwechter, was attentive and thorough in explaining my surgery journey from the beginning to the end. I had my surgery in July 2019, and I am doing well beyond my expectations. I would highly recommend Dr. Schwechter.

Please avoid this doctor. If he doesn’t see surgery = money, he won’t expend any time on you. I’m serious, he would rush out of the room without explaining your diagnosis, or treatment options. Very disrespectful. I went to see him for knee pain after a very bad fall. Before he came into the room his PA took care of me. I wanted them to send me for MRI because of my symptoms (an x-ray won’t show a torned meniscus). His PA considered the MRI as an option (based on my symptoms), so I could have the right diagnosis and the right care. She went and asked Dr. Evan. After 5 min, Dr Clown, sorry Dr. Evan came into the room check my x-ray saw no fracture, didn’t even listen to my symptoms or check my knee, told me I need to rest my knee two weeks, and wanted to leave to room immediately. Me and my husband were really surprised of his reaction. He didn’t explain my diagnosis or why he want me to rest my knee for two weeks or what to do while I’m home to improve mobility, nothing. I was very upset and crying. My husband begged him to send me for Physical Therapy, other than that I wouldn’t even get that. No follow up either. He is a money maker. He is not interesting in your well being if you don’t need surgery. Period

I am very pleased with the outcome of my total hip replacement. Dr. Schwecther is an excellent doctor. He was very thorough and explained everything that would go on in the surgery and what I could expect afterwards. He has a wonderful bedside manner which is very important to me. It has been a year since my surgery and I am walking with virtually no pain.

I felt like I was in very capable hands with Dr. Schwechter. I went for an issue with my knee and he diagnosed me properly and told me exactly how to treat it. It is 6months later and I am completely mended. He is not an alarmist and will not push unnecessary surgery.
