I love Dr Laufer and have known him for over 30 years. He stitched my sons up a few times and I’ve been to him on and off through the years myself. Excellent Dr all the way around.

I would never go back...office staff is unfriendly to the point of being nasty, and Dr. Laufer handled complications following my procedure incompetently. Extremely disappointed.

Dr. Laufer is professional, caring, talented and very hands on. I believe his work speaks for itself. When you forget you had a procedure and it feels like its always been a part of your body, thats pretty amazing.

During my initial surgery Dr. Laufer punctured my implant causing my left breast to completely deflate. Two days later, I had to have an additional surgery to replace his mistake. Now I have capsular contracture in the same breast and need yet again another surgery. Did I mention the horrible scar two surgeries left?Although Dr. Laufer is a nice man. I am extremely upset by how he handled my aftercare. I expressed concern to him about the capsular contracture many times and he did not seem interested in fixing it. Singular and Vitamin E did nothing to help the situation. I am now burdened with the cost of another surgery to fix his mistakes.

I am currently four weeks post surgery for a "neck lift" platysmaplasty procedure, and the results have exceeded my expectations. I am a surgeon, so I am, by definition, more critical than the average patient. When I reviewed Dr. Laufer's credentials, I was impressed by his training and qualifications. When I met him, I was even more impressed. He is a compassionate and passionate clinician who communicates well with his patients. At this point in his career, he could be "throttling back" but has instead created a state of the art facility... a testimony to his dedication and passion. He also has a support team that is phenomenal. My personal post op experience was uneventful. I took only tylenol for mild discomfort. The esthetic improvement, at only four weeks, is self explanatory. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Laufer not only for those in the Tampa Bay area, but for anyone, anywhere in the world. He is REALLY, REALLY good.

I have written reviews about Dr. Erel Laufer before. He performed a Rhinoplasty on me in year of 2005. I ONLY opted for a RHINOPLASTY. I was under anestesia for 6 hours. After I came out of surgery he told us he had to perform a septoplasty. I DID NOT OPT to have this, he did this at his own discretion. My nose crooked, my nostrils are two different sizes (I have photographic proof). He tried to make my mother pay for the septoplasty. I have posted about this on MULTIPLE review sites. Here in is TRUTH. I have witness from my family. Not to mention I have not been able to breathe right out of the left side of my nose since. Every review has been completely honest. He has sent me a letter from his lawyer saying that if I don't remove my reviews he will sue me for punitive damages. According to him "my procedures were proper" and this review along with the other ones are libelous. I will continue to make this known. His actions are unethical. I will be contacting the board about this.

I was fortunate enough to find Dr. Laufer after 5 breast surgeries performed by other plastic surgeons he was the only one able to correct everything!!! I also had problems with my nose, breathing was difficult and I had somewhat of a ski slope. He fixed my nose after another plastic surgeon had done it and it was not so good. He is the best plastic surgeon! I am forever grateful to him!!! He is very caring and took more time with me than all other previous surgeons put together. Everyone was wonderful. I highly reccomend him and I understand he has a new office in Dunedin called the Laufer Institute of Plastic Surgery!!!

I visited numerous plastic surgeons to see how they would propose to help me. I had a facial laceration scar from a dog bite. I heard a wide range of proposals, including one from a doctor who said she would make my scar larger in order to flatten it. One doctor seemed nervous and tried not to look at my scar as he stammered at what he might try to come up with. Dr. Erel Laufer calmly assured me that he could make my scar completely flat, smaller than before, and in a position that would be the least noticeable - and that the results would continue to last for me as I age. He of course was my choice out of 11 plastic surgeons I interviewed. The operation was an amazing success, and my results were way better than I had been promised. Dr. Laufer actually performed this procedure on me over thirteen years ago. My fantastic results remain like new from the procedure. I look like a normal person. Nobody can believe it when I tell them what my scar once looked like. Thanks Dr.!!!
