Dr. Gwen is incredible and so knowledgeable on everything about her job and gynecological health in general. Her passion for helping women, and women who can’t afford medical care, is inspiring and if you’re able to, she should be the one you go to for any of your gynecological health issues. She is remarkably professional and I truly feel relaxed and comfortable every time I’m around her. Thank you Dr Gwen! ❤️

Doctor Gwendolyn’s medical presentations are well prepared, very informative, and performed in a highly professional and excellent manner. She provides free monthly health seminars on a variety of health topics to the local community that are more than worth being paid for however, she has such a heart and passion to see people educated about their bodies and health, and to see them experience wholeness in every area of their lives. Her phenomenal health seminars are reaching and making a significant positive impact. I highly recommend Dr. Cobbs for your OBGYN needs.

I went to Dr. Cobbs' practice on the recommendation of a Foreign Service Officer recommendation before checking out these reviews.

Prior to arriving, I must have received 5 messages informing me to get to my appointment 15-30 minutes ahead of time to complete new patient paperwork. Unfortunately, my morning was hectic and I arrived at 1030 for a 1030 appt despite all the warnings. The staff was understanding and informed me that they would need to check with the doctor before agreeing to see me. I was expecting to reschedule and go home. However, Dr. Cobbs agreed to see me. I also misplaced my health insurance card in the move but the staff was able to work with me and accepted a screen shot of my coverage, creating a paper copy for me to take home.

The nurse who took my vitals did not get a chance to read my paper work ahead of time and asked me many of the questions I filled out. She was thorough and made sure she got everything.

Dr. Cobbs came in and was very matter of fact. Although she wasn't warm, fuzzy, and chatty, she was straight to the point and knew what she was doing. I appreciated her confidence, clarity, and professionalism. During my exam, she used her tools but felt like something on my paper work did not seem normal, so she took an extra step to explore her instincts.

I let her now I was trying to conceive but with limited luck. She suggested medication but when I told her I felt like I needed a break from medication, she was clear on next steps. This made me feel so comfortable and in control of my medical experience. She didn't pressure me, rather she guided me with her expert opinion. She explained what would happen next and left the room to get referrals. I felt like I didn't quite understand the problem, so I repeated what I thought I heard and asked her for clarity. She explained concisely and I felt much better! Waiting for my follow up!

My experience with Dr. Cobbs for nearly 10 years has been Outstanding. She is one of the most caring Doctors that I have ever met. As I experienced many challenging obgyn medical issues Dr Cobbs was very informative, helpful knowledgeable and performanced outstandingly to resolve the issue. I would not have wanted to be in the care of noone other than Dr Cobbs during the loss of my child (stillborn). If you are looking for a great Doctor who cares about her patients and is extremely knowledgeable then Dr Cobbs is highly recommended.

Dr. Cobbs is the third physician I've seen in this practice. I haven't had trouble with the first two, but needed to schedule an emergency appointment and Dr. Cobbs was the only available physician. I found her to be extremely harsh and judgmental, and frankly seemed to hear what she wanted to hear. She completely ignored very clear results from prior exams and tests I've had performed and decided to come up with her own completely different, (and apparently way off-base,)diagnosis based on approximately 4 minutes of speaking with me. I left her office in tears, feeling very frustrated and insulted. I will never ask to see this physician again, and I am actually so discouraged that I will be looking for an entirely new gyn practice altogether.

While I found Dr. Cobbs helpful, friendly, and informed throughout my pregnancy, I am rating her just 2 in helpfulness to highlight a negative experience I had when I gave birth. When I went into labor I was surprised to find that not just my doctor, but the rest of the practice was unavailable (during Labor Day weekend). Though I had been told at the outset to visit different doctors in the practice throughout the pregnancy just in case my doctor was unavailable at the critical moment, I never imagined that there was a possibility that not one would be working when I went into labor. Another doctor at the hospital (who I had never met and knew nothing about) attended me throughout my 17 hours of labor and then performend an emergency c-section. Had I known that I could end up with a doctor I had never met delivering my child, I never would have considered selecting this practice.

I have been with this practice for years. It wasn't until I had a miscarriage that I realized how horrible they were in taking care of me. After several phone calls and a sonogram that was not good, I did not get one phone call back. When I physically went to the office to try and see the doctor to get some information about my condition, I was told that I needed an appointment and could not bee seen for a week. They are overloaded and cannot handle their current patient load. And they are still taking new patients. This office and Dr. Cobbs are fine if you have no problems/issues. However, if you have any problems or need to speak to the doctor, even during pregnancy, you will be waiting and like me, could miscarry in the process.
