My surgical experience was great - everything went well. Surgery was awesome. It removed the pain entirely. It went exactly how Dr. Sahni said it would. Results were seen immediately after surgery. My pain was gone immediately after surgery. I would recommend Dr. Sahni to other patients.
He is very informative, detailed and doesn't waste time and is very direct which I like

R.F. "I am very happy that Dr. Sahni was able to see something from my MRIs that were not picked up by the radiologist. He stop the procedure and in the process saving my life. I am very proud that he had the courage to speak up prior to the procedure and proud that he is so intelligent. I would be happy to refer Dr. Sahni to anyone"

D. J- It feels amazing that I can move around my house again. I have no more pain. I was able to have a nice drive with my grandson and he was so happy to see me move around. I met another doctor before I met Dr. Sahni but I did not feel that he was right for me but when I met Dr. Sahni, I felt he would fix me which he did. Thank you Dr.Sahni.

My husband John and I are both patients of Dr. Sahni. We first met him after my husband had an accidental fall at home and suffered a skull fracture and brain bleed. He was rushed to the ER at St. David’s South. Dr. Sahni was on call. After many tests, he was put in the brain trauma unit. I was terrified, but Dr. Sahni was very calm and patiently explained the plan. He said there was no rush to do anything, just monitor him and watch the bleed. He checked on him everyday. We were very lucky the bleeding stopped. I was impressed by his compassion. Dr. Sahni’s follow-up care was excellent.
My case was different. I had suffered from back pain for many years. When I finally got the courage to do something, I knew I would start with Dr. Sahni. Reviewing his background, I realized he was a neurosurgeon and an orthopedic spine surgeon! In addition, he was a neurotrauma coordinator at St.David’s South. Knowing he had been chosen and vetted by the hospital, was extremely reassuring. I scheduled my first appointment. Everyone in the office was friendly and his staff knowledgeable. When Dr. Sahni came in with my MRI results, he said With confidence “I can fix this”. He did exactly that. I had my 6 week check-up this week and feel wonderful! After 30 years, my back pain is gone!

We will always be grateful to Dr. Sahni.

John and Deb F

Note:

One of my post-op appointments had to be rescheduled, because Dr. Sahni had an emergency surgery. I knew why he was so busy. It was a small price to pay. He was there when we needed him in the ER, maybe rescheduling someone in his office? A small price to pay, indeed.

I saw Dr. Sahni once to talk about getting my battery replaced for my nerve stim. He said it was no big deal and he would get the ball rolling. Well, that is where his staff dropped the ball. I saw him in the beginning of October. First staff member called me on a Tuesday and said my surgery was on following Monday, but didn't follow up with the time. Left several messages the following days that week, never heard back. The next week on Tuesday, I get a call from another staff member informing me that she got a referral for me to come in for a first patient visit. What? Brought her up to date and she said she would look into it and call me back by the end of the day. Still haven't heard back from anyone from the office!! Won't ever go back. Like I have said before, a doctor is only as good as his staff.
