Biography
Dr. Deann Hofer was born and raised in Western New York where she attended SUNY University at Buffalo for her undergraduate education. She majored in Biomedical Sciences and graduated with high distinction. While attending college, she continued to stay active by playing soccer and basketball. After having recurrent foot and ankle injuries, she gained an appreciation for the importance of lower extremity rehabilitation. She received her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree at Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine in Independence, Ohio. Dr. Hofer continued her foot and ankle surgical training in the Greater Cleveland Area at University Hospital Regional Medical Center. She then moved to Palo Alto, California to complete her fellowship training, specializing in sports medicine. During her fellowship, she had extensive training in Germany where she learned advanced surgical techniques. In addition to her professional experience with sports medicine, she enjoys staying active in the local community. She enjoys rock climbing, skiing, and hiking. She is very happy to call Colorado home.
