Had L4 L5 S1 fusion. Ended up in more pain with intolerable neuropathy in feet afterwards. Said he didnt see any cause and ended up recommending Peroneal nerve release surgery which did nothing. Ended up going to another surgeon who fused 4 levels. Only made back pain worse! Didn’t improve leg pain at all. Go to surgeon and major spine center if you are going to get major back surgery! I live in intolerable pain now!

Doctor LIN

I was diagnosed with a spinal vertebrae displacement that created a severe stenosis of the spinal cord and nerves. I couldn’t walk more than 30 feet without resting; the pain was unbearable even in bed. After many unsuccessful attempts to fix the problem through physical therapy, 3 cortisone injections the only option left was surgery. My pain management doctor recommended Doctor Lin to me. I met Doctor Lin with the MRI result and he scheduled the surgery for a <lumbar spinal fusion>. The friendly and courteous visit put me in a good spirit.
Dr.Lin performed a 4 hours very delicate procedure and came to brief my husband afterward with the X-ray to show and explained what he has done. He said everything went great.
I can’t thank Dr. Lin enough for what the outstanding care he gave me and for his very friendly attitude every time we met. He gave me my life back after 8 months of pain and suffering, I’ll be very grateful to him for ever.

My experience with Dean Lin, MD PHD @ Lee Neurosurgery was AMAZING!
The staff was professional, Knowledgable and patient. They answered all my questions, sincerely. They were available on my chart. And answered my questions and request , before the time allotment. Also, excellent , caring bedside manor . He gets you on your feet again !!!
