I love Dr.Laporte so much . Words cannot express . She has been by my side guiding me for over 10 years and helped a poor , broken soul of a girl blossom into a flower and I could not have done it without her .She doesn’t push meds and always listens to me without judgement. I have had a few psychiatrists in my life, but none have come close to being as enthusiastically helpful and caring as Dr. Laporte. Words cannot express my gratitude for her and her dedication. Dr. Laporte is by far the most kind and caring psychiatrist I have ever seen. Throughout the years I have seen many psychiatrists and although they all hold valuable knowledge none of them have been as genuinely curious and attentive as Dr. Laporte. She seems to genuinely care what I have to say and is always willing to answer questions, and discuss treatment rather than impose treatment. This is very appreciated as I have a very difficult time trusting mental health professionals. I have never felt pressured or judged by her. All around, she is an incredible human and I am beyond grateful for her dedication, knowledge, commitment to my health and well-being, and kindness. 15/10 recommend. And bonus: she’s funny.

Dr. Laporte is very caring and empathetic with her patience. She acted immediately over concerns of my medication causing serious side effects and she promptly found medication best suited for me. I highly recommend this doctor.

I have been lucky to have some great psychiatrists in two different communities over the last 8 years, but Dr. LaPorte is by far the most exceptional. I really appreciate how she incorporates research and follows through with suggestions while I'm sitting there. I always feel heard, respected, and valued. During the years I spent with her I tried various meds that helped at the time and then for the first time in 8 years she helped me get off meds altogether 6 months ago. I feel healthy, strong, capable, and supported. She has been a valuable ally in helping me start a peer support group in the community and works behind the scenes to improve the way patients navigate care and support in our community.

Dr Laporte is an incredible doctor. She is my fourth and by far the best. Dr Laporte cares about the wellbeing of her patients. She has shuffled my meds to a lower amount, and she has given me support while I talk through hard things. When I needed her sooner than my next appointment, she was able to squeeze me in the next day. She listens, she cares, and she is willing to find the root issue in order to treat it. I could not be more thankful to have someone so good in my corner to help with my multiple diagnoses and conflicting symptoms.
