Biography

Dr. Loder earned his Bachelor of Science in biological sciences from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey, graduating summa cum laude. He was awarded a full scholarship through the National Institutes of Health to attend the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine for his medical degree, and completed his internship and residency in the Department of Anesthesia and Critical Care at the University of Chicago Medical Center. He specializes in spine and joint pain and injury using the latest non-surgical treatment options, such as platelet-rich plasma (PRP), stem cells, and IV infusions, as effective alternatives to surgery. His focus is to treat pain and leave surgery as the last resort. By alleviating patients from high levels of pain in areas all over the body, Dr. Loder helps them resume their daily activities. He treats pain from sports injuries, accidents, and pain associated with everyday life, and can help find the best methods to relieve your pain. Dr. Loder takes time with each patient, answers all their questions, and explains treatment options clearly. His approach to care emphasizes understanding, and he creates an individualized treatment plan based on each patient’s goals and needs. As a double board-certified physician in pain medicine and anesthesia, his treatment options utilize the most cutting edge technology and established standards. He is an attending and assistant professor for the Department of Anesthesia and the Regional Anesthesia/Acute Pain Fellowship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Loder is also a pain management physician at Rolling Hills Medical in Torrance, California. In addition to serving the greater Los Angeles communities, he prides himself on developing treatment standards and best practices.
